The book is good - only 4 stars due to the print - gosh it’s small! This doctor really opens eyes, it would be much easier reading if it were on kindle so the font can be made bigger for those of us with limited vision.

This is a must read for everyone to truly inform oneself about the deadly effects of Prozac and the ever-growing onslaught of similar psychotropic drugs. It contains so many tragic stories of drug induced violence and deaths and the ruined lives of family members left behind. I won't mention the name, but one of the stories is of a young man who was our neighbor, was friends with and went to the same private school as my kids, an honor student who had a brilliant future ahead. His M.D. prescribed Prozac for chronic fatigue syndrome. When Prozac didn't help his condition, his M.D. kept increasing the dosage. This had a gruesome, tragic ending and ruined the lives of two families. Buy the book and read it yourself along with the other tragedies inflicted by psychotropic drugs. Read of the greed and heartless, soulless cover-ups by big pharma whose only goal is to feed their multi-billion dollar profits no matter what the cost in human lives and suffering..

lots of good info here. Every Dr idiot should read it. Find Dr Tracy's on line lectures/interviews for the short versions of this book but if you have a copy of the book, sooner or later you will find a reason to read it. So many meds today are SSRI based or just the sams SSRI meds percribed for other things. . Its a sign of our times that on amazon you mostly find only used copys, and odds are that used copy comes with hilighted paragraphs.and notes on the pages. Look for the 2nd eddition, it has some updates and corrections.

Ann Blake Tracy is so very knowledgeable on this subject. If people would listen to her and avoid the psychtropic meds and look at more natural ways to help this would be a lot less scary world. With all these people on so many mind altering substances it is dangerous for us all; to go to work, to go to school or drive down the street.

Not very good organized book but with all the information available you need to know about these terrible drugs. She gets the point already over ten years ago which many still don't see today. This book should be translated and promoted in all the other common languages to make information also available to non-english speakers. Sadly this is not in the interest of Big Pharma and all involved. It surely helps everyone who went through Ssri/ Snri hell and back!

A worthwhile book full of good empirical data, of interest to those looking into the intricacies and pros and cons of the antidepressant pharma game. Prozac is available to make a fat profit, the welfare of the patient is very secondary or inexistent.
