I bought the Dorothy platform Mary Jane because the wizard of Oz is my favorite movie of all time. I wear a size 9/9.5 so I ordered the 10 and they fit great. They are exactly as pictured and wildly adorable.Unfortunately I deducted a star because I was under the impression from reviews that they would be comfortable. I love platforms and have many many pairs and these are way stiffer than I like. I thought there would be some give in the platform or the fabric but the shoe is very stiff and block like.I guess I was hoping to be able to just put them on and go out but I can tell just from walking around my house that band aids and a solid break in period are necessary.All in all though these are adorable, very well made and sturdy. I will definitely be putting in the time to break them in. They're worth it.

Only negative, shoes ship in a bag. The packaging is ALSO a Major part of Hot Chocolate Design experience! STOP SHIPPING in BAGS! PLEASE use a shipping box for extra protection! Boxes always received DAMAGED. I tried twice to get replacement due to damage 1ST pair shoes purchased each time shoe damage.So disappointing, it took over 2 yrs to order another pair and again received them in a bags. I kept the shoes, but beautiful packaging boxes damaged. For as much as they cost and their uniqueness, PLEASE put more thought & effort into how your customers receive the end product.Shipment box or recycled bubble wrap, something more/other than a plastic bag. Your product and customers deserve Better.Shoes fit perfect, are comfortable and BEAUTIFUL!Hot Chocolate Design is missing a key component on Amazon though, packaging shippments. Excitement for the products, YES, but one shouldn't feel hesitant about future purchases due to HORRIBLE shipping practices.Get it together! I've been ready to give you my money, to be a literal free walking billboard of your products and recommend them because they're truly a Unique & Great Total Experience to wear on my feet!

Normal size was too small. Had to return and get the next size up.

I teach art. I am on my feet a lot and I want crazy wild shoes to wear. THESE ARE PERFECT! I ordered a 10 and I wear a 9.5. Perfect fit. My toes have just enough room. They are made very well. Strong and sturdy.I purchased another pair and I would buy 5 pairs but I am picky about colors and design.

I love Hot Chocolate Designs…adore them, even. I always buy my regular size in the mary jane flat (I own several pairs). This was my first time ordering the platform and let me tell you I WAS SO EXCITED FOR THESE!!! I ordered the rainbow/cloud design. I received the package and tore open that box. I took them out and they were just as cute in person as they were online. I immediately tried them on. I was deflated….too small. My toes were literally crammed in there. I came back here promptly to order a size up and return the too small pair. They were sold out in the next size up (insert sad ugly crying face here).I did give stars for the adorably cute design but had to take some away due to how terribly small they were.

These shoes are very nice. Platform wedge is the way to go for me. Very sparkly but subtle if that makes sense! I don’t to have to wear my orthotics. Win-win

The shoes are great (I have several pairs), very comfy, fit well, although do habe a tendency to need the occasional fixing.However I am deeply unimpressed with Amazon's handling of them.The shoes are supposed to come with special collector boxes,I have just got two sets in the post, if those two pairs, one collectors box came pre-damaged and covered in amazon stickers and tape, the other pair came with no collectors box at all. This is especially disappointing as they are going to be a Christmas present. Whilst this doesn't matter so much if you are just after the shoes themselves and plan to dump the cake-boxes, for collectors this is a real let down.

Loved the shoes! Perfect fit 👌 excellent quality. The only gripe would be amazon sticking the address sticker on the front of the box! They are collectibles you know!

Mi piacciono moltissimo. Non vedevo l’ora che arrivassero per provarle, perché avevo dei timori riguardo al numero, ma calza a pennello su di me. Nonostante la zeppa risultano molto leggere. Sono molto contenta dell’acquisto.

Hot Chocolate Design shoes ARE MADE FOR ME! They are PERFECT at every level from the flawless shoe to the gorgeous box to the tiny birthday candle that made me pee in my pants LOL!!! Really!!! The details, ideas and quality are amazing. It's PURE ART. I have been looking at them over an over for months and I regret not buying a pair when it was on special at $89.95 a while ago. Among my favorite pairs, there's the Peacock, the dracula, the music notes, the Alice in Wonderland, the Little Red Riding Hood, the 1970's, the Aries, and... shoot... I LOVE them all! That's painful because only one pair is out of my budget LOL. But I noticed some models are not available anymore (discontinued) and it would break my heart to realize that a model is unvailable forever. If I had the money, I would buy the entire store! I have a huge wardrobe, a collection of jewellry, hats and other accessories and I got an outfit that goes perfectly with every model. I had a really hard time to decide which model to buy first. So I picked the Rockabilly pair because it's the one that I got the most outfits to go with. Next will be the music notes I think because it would be awesome wearing them when I play the flute and dance outside in front of the Ultramar!!! If I wasn't refusing money for it, I could buy myself a second pair, but I think it's more important that I offer my music and good energy to people in these hard Covid times. Just saying for my own promotion ha ha ha (but it's true).I just cross my fingers to get sponsored by Hot Chocolate Designs to wear their shoes and make their promotion here in Canada!!! (Although the company doesn't need promotion to sell out LOL). I know I'm weird & eccentric, I just want to show these pairs to the world! And I got plenty of ideas too for future models that would go with my outfits!In conclusion, don't buy these shoes. THEY ARE ALL MINE!

Die Plattformschuhe mit dem Kürbisdesign sind mein zweites Paar der Marke. Sie passen mir wie auch die flachen Schuhe mit Schnalle in Größe 39 hervorragend.Ich trage auch sonst eine 39 in Schuhen habe aber häufig das Problem, dass mir Schuhe die vorne zu spitz sind oder am Rist sehr flach nicht passen. Das ist hier absolut nicht der Fall, ich habe wirklich selten so gut passende Schuhe gefunden.Warum ich keine 5 Sterne vergebe?Der Versand lief reibungslos, Paket kam schneller als erwartet aber leider mit beschädigtem Karton.Da Hot chocholate wirklich hübsche Kartons nutzt die man super praktisch nach vorne ausziehen kann, wollte ich meine Schuhe gerne dauerhaft im Karton lagern. Das ist durch die Transportschäden nicht möglich.Des weiteren waren die Schuhe nicht von innen mit Papier und Schuhspanner gefüllt, sie waren nicht in bedrucktem Papier eingeschlagen, es lag kein Schmutzradierer und Authentifizierungzertifikat bei und auch die Kerze hat gefehlt.Alles in allem vermittelt mir das den Eindruck, dass vor mir jemand den Schuhkarton geöffnet hat, die Schuhe hatten keine Tragespuren aber das erklärt trotzdem nicht warum zum Beispiel die Kerze fehlt.Außerdem muss man leider sagen, dass die Qualitätskontrolle der Schuhe wirklich nicht besonders gut ist.An der Sohle ist an mehreren Stellen Kleber sichtbar, natürlich halte ich niemanden meine Sohle direkt ins Gesicht aber das ändert nichts daran dass hier ungenau und unschön gearbeitet wurde. Gerade durch die glänzende Lackoptik sind die Kleberflecken noch deutlicher zu sehen und stören mich bei der Preisklasse sehr.Das Kürbisgesicht ist genäht, hier wurde ein Faden nicht abgeschnitten und spannt sich von Auge zu Auge. Ja ich könnte den Faden einfach abschneiden aber ich habe sorge, dass sich die Naht dann auf trennt, auch das hätte man bei der Qualitätskontrolle sehen können.So gerne ich die Schuhe auch trage, ich würde sie auch gerne wieder aus ziehen. Leider ist die Schnalle so stramm eingearbeitet, dass man dieses Metallteil das man in die Löcher am Riemen piekst kein bisschen flexibel ist. Normalerweiße zieht man am Riemen, biegt den Metallstift weg und kann dann den Riemen lockern. Dies ist hier leider nicht der Fall, man muss den Stift regelrecht weg biegen in dem man einen Schraubenzieher oder ähnliches darunter steckt.Hier hätte man einfach von Anfang an mehr Spiel einplanen müssen und z.B das Loch am Schnallenteil größer arbeiten. Da es sich hier nicht um Leder sondern ein sehr festes Lackmaterial handelt ist auch nicht davon aus zu gehen, dass über die Zeit hier mehr Spiel entsteht.Gerade bei dem Preis hätte ich mir da einfach mehr erwartet, ich liebe die Schuhe, sie sind super bequem, man kann toll in ihnen laufen, man sieht nicht direkt jeden Stein über den man gelaufen ist in der Sohle, es könnte wirklich ein toller Schuh sein aber die oben genannten Punkte sind alles Dinge die man mit Qualitätskontrolle hätte vermeiden können. Ich möchte nicht für den Fall dass ich unterwegs mal Schuhe aus ziehen möchte einen Schraubenzieher mit führen müssen.
