Premium Shower Caddy, Never Rust Aluminium Satin Chrome Finish - Hanging Over Shower Head Tidy Organiser with 2 Shelves and Soap Holder - Rack Comes with Suction Cups for Extra Stability

I absolutely hated the cycle of buying a shower caddy, having it develop rust, binning it, buying another supposedly better quality one, finding it rusts too, trying again, repeat until irritated with the waste ....So, when I spotted this, an aluminium caddy, which by it's very composition would be 100% rust free I had to give it a try.This appears to be a well made item, and that unmistakeable and pleasing aluminium silver colour is distinctive compared with the common chrome plated steel jobs. Thoughtful touches include a bumpy plastic sleeve which reduces any movement or scratching at the top hanging loop, and the pair of suckers included which can be clipped on to any point up the side rails you choose, handy if your tiles do not extend all the way up the wall.Personally a little less overall width, but more height between the baskets/shelves would have suited me better (tall bottles of shampoo won't fit the lower basket) , the softness of aluminium means the horizontal wire bars of the shelves are easy to bend, so shorter there might be better in the long term. Fortunately amazon packed the rack in a huge box with loads of paper padding, so only one shelf rod was slightly out of true, and very little force was needed to straighten it with my fingers. Because of this I'd be concerned about the rack getting bent by careless users or children, but having neither in my home, I hope it will be OK for me !The ends of the hooks at the bottom are cut at right angles, and would benefit from some plastic sleeving or capping I think, they appear rather angular for something you stand next to with your skin unprotected ...

Though on the surface it looks good, as soon as one looks at the details, it's disappointing. The horizontal trays attached to the hanging frame are not sitting horizontally aligned but are slightly off-kilter. The so-called suction cups are a joke (see picture) they will not stick to anything and simply serve as plastic bumpers at the bottom of the caddy.

Really nice caddy which sits well on wall of shower. No rust which is wonderful. Plenty of space for everything BUT the one downside is the size of the soap holder bars. Once you have used soap for a week or two it gets smaller (obviously) and falls between the bars. A bit annoying having to repeatedly either pick it up from shower tray floor or be very careful when placing it back in the holder so it doesn't fall out. Have got used to it now. A lovely product apart from this nigly problem.

I had to return this item as the horizontal wires and shelves were not parallel to each other, giving it a shoddy look. The plastic suckers were so misshapen they would not stick to the tiles. I gave it two stars as the satin chrome finish looked very good. To this I must add that the sellers have been extremely obliging in refunding and replacing the item to my fullest satisfaction.

Spoke came loose after 1 month

Good design, quality and finish and an ideal size for keeping frequently used showering products handy. I wanted something which would adhere using suction pads and so far so good. I am therefore very happy to recommend this item both for its function and design.

I have bought a number of shower caddy’s some cheap some expensive and they all had the same issue RUST after a while in the bin goes another one. So when I saw this one stating rust proof I thought ok give it a try, so in December 2017 I bought it, I have had it in my shower now for a year and I have to say NOT ONE BIT OF RUST it looks exactly like the day it arrived so 5* for that. Now the niggles that dropped it from 5* to 3* ( nearer to 3.5* if I could ) the suction cups peoples sort these out as previous reviews have stated they are as much use as a chocolate fire guard and thats on a good day!!!!!! They just don’t stick to the tiles they curl up and you do need them to stick if you don’t it hangs wonky in the shower, and a wonky hanging caddy just won’t do. The second issue I have is the soap dish there is a bar across the front and non on the back, so if you have big hands you struggle getting hold of the soap and end up pushing it out the back of the caddy, common sense surely would have been put a dipped bar at the front and a full bar at the back.All in all its a shame that a bit more thought hadn’t gone into the slight design blip and better quality suction cups because had they I would have given this 5* across the board.

Made of solid aluminium rather than the usual chromed steel which rusts.This seems well-designed: the baskets are wide enough for large bottles and tall bottles fit in the upper basket. The hooks are useful for hanging flannels etc. The plastic protector on the hanging hook is a nice touch and the two suction cups stop it sliding or scratching on the tiles.If you don't have a shower head to loop it over, you need to put a hook in the wall to hang it from.
