Control from anywhere!
Easy to install. High battery life. The online control makes this a lifesaver when I’m traveling and the rain forecast changes!

Pretty good
Works pretty well, would have given 5 stars but does not automatically not water if it rains out. You can set delays on your own but I can’t figure out a way to make it automatic. But for the price this is great if you put on a schedule which is super easy from the app and was easy to setup.

Won’t stay connected to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth
Every time you connect to the Wi-Fi or the Bluetooth if you walk away too far or leave the house it is disconnected and you have to go through the connection procedure all over again, which is a little aggravating at times was really hoping this was a good job for us, I tried to change the work time to 30 minutes on the cycle instead of 10, which is the default and it also will not change once you lose your connection 🥲

Just what I needed
Makes watering easier as I can now turn it on or off from anywhere. I love the convenience it provides.

First Impressions... Battery problem is 90% of failures... and an easy Fix
I preped and installed for new Bermuda sod w/in-ground sprinkler heads, in our backyard. Long run, I'll want more sophisticated system integrated to our Home Assistant (HA) software - BUT... in the short term, I needed a timed, WiFi valve to keep the sod damp during the critical first month. So - Diivoo for $40. Today... it failed to turn off it's 6AM watering - it went for 3:36:15 before I woke up at 9am and looked. This is not its first fail, but first fail to turn OFF. Software disconnects OFTEN. Using SmartTuya software, it was fairly easy to get going. But the software is extremely poor. It often reports the wrong state for the faucets (says ON when actually OFF, and the reverse). The software is extremely unresponsive. Tap 'ON' - nothing - do it 5-6 times... nothing. 45s or more later... suddenly it comes on, but the software shows it as off. The delay is pretty horrible. Until todays 3hr fiasco, I was reasonably happy - I'd gotten to a level of trust that it would work as intended, enough so that I didn't need to wake up early to check... fool me once... ALL THAT SAID... I believe that the cause of 95% of the issues is *BATTERIES*. Read on. The device actually says "Alkaline" - some others have reported that documentation says NOT TO USE rechargeable batteries (I can't find this, but believe it). Such a device needs real power; the alkaline rqmt is reasonable, given it has to actuate and hold a solenoid). The *ostensible* issue is NiMh rechareables are 1.2V, not 1.5V... So, before connecting water. I tried various batteries. Worked fine with some NiMh - but not others. Worked fine with some Alkaline... but not others. Would NOT work with special, high$ Li-Ion 1.5V AA that are rated to replace alkalines. BUT even with alkalines, power level went from 90+% to 40% ... INSTANTLY- just nudging the valve! This reeks of a physical problem. SO... after todays fiasco I took it in the shop and went looking for why batteries would be such an issue... it didn't take long to figure out. The Positive (+) end of each battery slot has plastic edges around each terminal's "dimple"; the dimple that should make contact with the battery's positive electrode. BUT, there is a bit of variation between all AA battery lengths. So... the batteries are barely making contact... nudged, they end up with high resistance or no contact at all, and the device is disconnected or off. **** CUT 4 ALUMINUM FOIL SHIMS, FOLDED OVER TWICE, AND SLIPPED THEM INTO THE DIIVOO'S POSITIVE TERMINAL, MAKING CONTACT WITH THE TERMINAL'S DIMPLE *** Suddenly, ALL the alkalines work perfectly, with 90+% charge shown. Suddenly, my special Li-Ion 1.5V Alkaline rated AA batteries... work - charge is shown as 100%. Suddenly, all my NiMh work perfectly, though the charge is under 75%, as expected w/1.2v batts. SO - I think most problems are battery problems, and the aluminum foil shim is a reasonable fix. Right now, I'm obsessivly watching the battery levels and verifying each time it's turning off and on as expected. It's going to take a few days before I trust it again.. In other news... I did try to integrate with Home Assistant - I got it to show up, but that's as good as it got - I was never able to control the Diivoo from Home Assistant - it just ignored all commands. Overall Recommendation: Iffy. I'm not willing to trust it without verifying it's working as intended... which defeats the purpose. I'll amend this as I watch the battery levels, and as the 2nd week goes by.

Skip this product. Leaks in under a year. Bad purchase.
Started leaking after 1st year of use and responsive issues with alexa automation. Not worth the spend to have it leak all over the ground when it's not running. Defeats the point.

Unreliable and overly sensitive WiFi connectivity...
I really wanted this WiFi sprinkler timer to work for me but apparently my setup is not conducive to allow WiFi to work properly. I was able to get the unit setup and programmed but it keeps disconnecting from my WiFi and forces me to reestablish connectivity. I thought I was within range since my other WiFi devices I tested near the sprinkler timer showed decent signal and and didn't disconnect. I spent hours trying different configurations and tried moving the hub to several other locations thinking that would help without success. Time to throw in the towel and write it off. I may try using this in another location but where I needed it won't work although I have a spare WiFi repeater I may install near the area to see if that might mitigate the connectivity issue. At this point, I've spent so much time messing with this thing that I need a rest from the frustration. I will update this review if/when I make another attempt at installation either at it's originally intended location or one nearer my WiFi router's location.
