This was delivered exactly as advertised, works well and rings nicely.

Showed up damaged but still usable for what I am using it for, so not worth the effort to return. Box was half destroyed when it arrived, leaving the anvil nicked and a dent in the middle. I can fix it with a grinder but why should I have to on something new?Spend your money elsewhere if you need quality. It's a cheap anvil though and you get what you pay for. My needs and expectations weren't very high so it'll work for now. Eventually I'll use it as a boat anchor when I can get a good one.

I beat on it today trying to get some rivets to set. It left small divots in the anvil!!!!! NOT acceptable!

This anvil is not heat treated and takes dents and chips with moderate to heavy blows that glance off your piece to the anvil face. I’d you want it to last it will take some serious effort to improve your striking surface.
