Just what I ordered but would suggest getting larger size.

Cute, small feeder. I hoped the cage would keep the starlings, grackles, and cowbirds away from our expensive hulless feed. NOT. The feeder is so small and light weight that especially grackles land on cage wire, which tips from their weight. Then they beat their wings for balance and the tipped tube just pours seeds to ground. The finches, titmouse, and song sparrows go into the cage okay, but grackles empty it in less than an hour. Squirrels are no problem, all our poles have the metal cones on them at 4 feet height.

A nice feeder that caters to the smaller birds. Perfect for hanging directly outside a window to view them up close.

Within a week, the squirrels managed to chew a whole in the tube the size of a tennis ball, and chewed off all of the perches.

This is at least 20” from the fence! At least the birds like it too!

it keeps doves away that chase wrens away from feeders but woodpeckers can use it that surprised me. doves can feed on what wrens drop from feeder.

Works just like they say it will.

I was about to return this item when I looked at the listing again - and finally figured out from one of the pictures how to load the feeder with seeds. No instructions are included and it wasn't obvious that you can unhook/unlatch the top of the feeder to load the tube. Now that I'm able to load the seeds, I will hang it up and see how squirrel proof it is - will update my review when I have more experience with it.
