Albedo 1590152 Reflective Spray 'Light Metallic' -200ml, Grey

Experimented with this Albedo's metallic paint after seeing a news article online. Sprayed on the wheels of my motorcycle as was riding in early morning darkness and felt that I was not being seen by sleepy drivers at roundabouts. Subjectively it seems to make me more visible. It has stayed on even though sprayed on rubber tyres that were not fully inflated and have been riding in all weather daily. The instructions are sparse on the can but are the same for any spray paint: shake well and hold 15-30cm away from object you are spraying. Really does shine when even car park lights catch it at the right angle. Brilliantly innovated product that is not only a good idea but well executed.

The product works - it does indeed deliver a reflective surface. I sprayed it onto various parts of the bike such as mud guards, and also my helmet. After many months, it’s still there, barring a few areas that have been worn off (not the product’s fault).One word of caution - make sure you apply in the open air. I sprayed it in the shed, and my lungs were burning for days (I seem to have made a full recovery now).

Great reflectivness but poor adhesion would still buy it again if I could get a clear reflective lacquer

Love this - have sprayed on everything!! Wheelie bins, push bike spokes, cat colour - works really well. Only down side is that it sticks to some surfaces better than others so may need occasional reapplication. Looks light grey when applied but very reflective in direct light.

Applied to a bike frame. Easily scrapes off.

adhesion not very good inspite of careful preparation

Having read the 5 star reviews, I was expecting great things. I followed the instructions (shake for 1 minute and then apply from 30cm) but far from drying clear, it covered my (red) bike in grey paint and it stayed that way - not happy. See photo. I then had to rub it down and power hose it to get most of it off. Now my formerly red bike looks scrappy.
