My Border Collie, AKA Houdini, managed to escape his harness last week and ended up on a main road, recall has always been a challenge as he is nervous reactive. Tried two different products to connect his lead and harness until I found these little beauties, used this morning for the first time and felt much more relaxed walking Blue. Great little product.

This is as you might expect just be aware they are very short and you should check the product length before you buy

I have a cockerpoo who is very friendly but gets scared easily by other dogs. Whilst walking him in a harness he has backed out of the harness on three occasions. The harness is tight enough but he still manages to wriggle free. I bought this small lead to connect the harness to his collar and now if he backs out I still have him connected to the main lead. I’d recommend for anyone using a harness whose dog gets scared easily.

Seems solid enough. Got a Belgian Malinois with very high drive and having this gives me a safe peace of mind the collar won't snap (I use two) while this can hold to the other one

Perfect for my feisty wee dog. Attached one end to harness, the other onto her collar. Gives me peace of mind when she sees other dogs & somehow, wriggles out of her harness. Back up now complete...thank you.

I bought this to attach a dog lead to the collars as well as the harness, for additional safety for my reactive dog. Unfortunately the spring loaded clips are so weak that they just come undone when in use. They cannot be relied on to keep your dog safely secured.

These are lovely strong straps that can be used to connect a dog headcollar to the collar or collar to harness so that if your dog manages to escape one you still have hold of him. I love that they have good strong clips and straps. My 18 mth German Shepherd is reactive around other dogs and these straps make me feel much more in control knowing that should he slip his collar I still have full control of him. I also like that they are 2 different lengths I actually use both, the shorter one to link his headcollar to his collar and the longer one links his collar to his harness so whatever happens I have full control which is very reassuring for me and other dog walkers. Highly recommendedI would say that these are probably more suitable for a large dog I think they may be too heavy and bulky for small dogs.

I am baffled at the amount of glowing reviews for this product. I must have received faulty straps.I bought these so I could attach my dog's harness to her collar, so if she did slip her harness, the lead would still be attached to her collar through the harness.Obviously, her main lead was connected to the harness as well and didn't come loose at all, as it has a very sturdy connector. However, the strap connector just moved about alongside it and constantly worked itself loose. The strap wasn't bent or floppy, it fit very well between the two rings...and the strap itself would have been strong enough for the odd escape, but the connectors on mine are just too weak.During every single walk, I would, at some point, look down and see that the end connected to her harness had come off, leaving the strap flapping about on her collar.I hate to leave bad reviews, but I'd hate to think someone would lose their beloved dog because they weren't aware of a potential flaw. if you're purchasing these for peace of mind, be mindful that any movement next to them could push the mechanism and open the connector.For general purposes and purely as a link from one thing to another, these might be more useful and reliable, but they are not anywhere near secure enough for what I needed them for.

These clips give me peace of mind when walking my reactive dogs. One time my girl got so excited she slipped through her harness and almost got completely out before I grabbed Her. These clips give you extra security to attach a secondary clip to the leash from a collar or harness. We have not had an incident yet so I cannot Speak to weather these are strong enough to reel an 80lb dobie back.. but they make me feel much better about walking them.

Very functional as intended. Only four stars because I feel the clasps are sturdy but a bit heavy, making it kind of swing and bounce against the dog.

Easy, sturdy, makes walking easier, very safe

I ordered these to safely harness my dog into his car seat. The leash that came with his dog seat was too long and my dog was dangerously getting halfway out of his seat! These two short leashes were the perfect solution. He is now able to move around in his car seat without climbing out. Both leashes are adjustable to make them fit as necessary.The clasps are made of solid metal – no plastic parts. The internal spring for the clasp is strong but not so tight that it is difficult to open. There are reflective strips on them and it is very helpful that the lengths are adjustable. You might be surprised at how useful these can be!

This is such a useful tool to make sure your dog (or cats) harness stays on safely. We have a lovely harness for our dog, but especially after she gets groomed, the harness is often loose. This can clip to the harness and then to the collar. It just helps to keep everything secure. Great piece of mind.
