Have wanted this cutlery set for years then found out it was going end of life so made the investment and bought it. No regrets! Note that the cutlery is brushed the whole way through (not just the handle) and they are all long, elegant and slimline. The knife was not quite as heay as expected given the thick base but does not disappoint. I highly recommend this cutlery!

The 'Protect' version of wmf cutlery range replaced the original version of the Vision range of cutlery recently. While the items look the same superficially, the Protect version of the cutlery is lighter than the original. Be very careful if you are adding to your set of Vision if you bought it before last year. Most items are only a few grams lighter but the table fork contains 25% less steel. Consequently the protect table forks are noticeably lighter and thinner than the originals. This spoils the look of the solid, heavy and stylish cutlery which is the hallmark of the Vision cutlery. The WMF company are unable to supply any original Vision cutlery, which is a great pity.
