Definitely check the dimensions before ordering, because this is desk-scale, not bookshelf-scale. The piece itself is solid wood (not hollow), with a simple stained finish. It's sturdy for its size and doesn’t wobble. The finish is clean but basic, so if you’re handy, a light sanding and coat of lacquer would bring it up a level or two. I use mine to hold a stack of thermal label rolls for my printer. Before, they just sat there looking mildly chaotic. Now they sit there looking like they have something to do. It’s a small upgrade, but visually it makes the desk feel more organized. Best for: small desk items, compact decor, or elevating something that needs a little structure. It’s simple, well-made for what it is, and does its job.

Great product, real wood I use it as soon! It hold my soap dispenser on my kitchen sink. It easy to clean, I just wipe it off. It’s not big at all. More long then wide but looks great as a decor piece to add some flare to your kitchen or bathroom

Very cute wooden riser by sink for hand soap! If you are looking for a heavy piece of wood, this isn’t it. I just wanted something decorative to set my hand soap on and this does the job.
