Amazing stuff. I wouldn't be without it.
This stuff is fantastic.Best water conditioner available? Check.Detoxifies Ammonia, Nitrates and Nitrites? Check.Lasts forever and represents great value for money? Check.Reputable brand? Check.Perfect compliment to a Seneye for Ammonia spikes? Check. This is just Seachem Prime, but in a powdered form. It can be a little tricky to work out the dosage for your tank, but luckily I have a very large tank so it's not too bad. You get slightly over 1kg as well, which is nice!I really cant recommend this enough. It should be in every aquarists cupboard.

50-1000x as much water treated than other water treatments on the market!
I highly recommend this product. It's the most economical item for treating your aquarium water that is on the market and the price from TMS Online is the best I have found in the UK. Don't bother buying any of the other treatments they don't treat anywhere near the amount of water as this does. The 1kg container treats 960,000 Liters!!! In comparison (price wise) this 1kg of Safe will treat 50x to 1000x the amount of water than other water treatments!

Economical
Use to dechlorinate 12000litre pond when topping up. This is the most economical product I can find. Just a few teaspoons treats all 12000 litres

expensive but
a lot of money to spend out at once but 1kg is going to go a long long way,so buying bulk like this is going to save you big money in the long run.the amount of this stuff you need to use is tiny.for a 150 litre tank you need a tiny finger nail amount 1/4 of a teaspoon if im correct.be warned it does smell eggy when you remove the lid but no smell once added to water.

Confusing
First off the positives:Good value in that one kilo can treat nearly a million litres for chlorine removal at the standard rates in tap waterBinds Ammonia into ammonium for 24-48 hours, so handy in an emergency in a brand new tank / Pond.Negatives:Dosages to lower Ammonia can be 4 times higher, therefore reducing the value for money aspectNo scientific proof or explanation that it lowers / eliminates / binds Nitrites or Nitrates - only Ammonia.Confusing dosage instructions on the label vs their site that can require much higher dosages, see below from seachem’s site:"NOTE: These directions supersede all other prior packaging.50 gUse 200 mg Safe (scoop) per each 200 L (50 gallons) as needed to reduce chlorine and chloramine or per 50 L (13 gallons) for ammonia. All other sizesUse 1.25 g (1/4 tsp.) for every 1,250 L (300 US gallons) as needed to reduce chlorine and chloramine or use 1.25 g (1/4 tsp.) for every 300 L (75 US gallons) for ammonia. For precise dosing, use the Seachem Digital Spoon Scale.May be added to aquarium directly, but better if added to new water first. If adding directly to aquarium, base dose on aquarium volume. For exceptionally high chloramine concentrations, a double dose may be used safely. To detoxify nitrite and nitrate in an emergency, up to 4 times normal dose may be used. If temperature is > 30 °C (86 °F) and chlorine or ammonia levels are low, use a half dose."

Saves money on multiple tanks water changes.
I love using this, I have so many tanks that I have to regularly do water changes, this saves me a lot of money, I just bought small measuring spoons and this does help me stretch my money. I have not lost any live stock.

Better alternative to liquid!
Excellent product & a pinch actually works in the smallest 10 gallon tank to my many 100 gallons! For my larger tanks I divided the one eighth recommended for 300 gallons into 3 doses! Which once it’s figured out can easily be done with the 1/8th teaspoon scoop! Has in no way harmed my fish & yet keeps the water nitrates away! As many said it smells horrible when it’s opened & also in the tank but is gone within hours! If one took the time I’m sure they could mix some in distilled water for their smaller tanks to use that for water changes? For my fry tank I took a very very small pinch of some of the powder & it didn’t harm my smaller tank inhabitants! To make my jar remain safer upon closing the jar lid & to maintain a freshness seal i put a plastic food freezer bag under the cap! One could also bag it that way to ensure it stays safe from kids or pets spilling it!! A fantastic buy & it will last for years!

Stinks
It smells like my dog took a crap after 1 week being constipated. Makes me want to puke.It does last alot longer than prime though. More concentrated and requires alot less than prime to do the same thing. Very worth it if u can tolerate the foul stench.
