Great Value
Great quality wet cat food for the price. It does contain guar gum as a thickener which is not good for cats (or any living creature) but if you rotate your foods, Dave's is fine to add to rotation. All other ingredients are great! If you want a healthy cat, cut out dry food.

Great food at an affordable price
Be sure and read the labels because Dave offered such a big variety of foods I'm grateful that they're on sale, but 75% of the time the cans are smashed due to poor packing on Amazon's part, and USPS beat the crap out of the packages somehow. It has gotten to where they have to tape the packages back together after items have fallen out, and I have found that frequently it's not till I unpacked that I see all the damage that is done which is a real pain to have to do. Amazon has been good about Refunding my money on the product ❤️

Cannot be returned
Our cat will not eat this. The food seems to be high quality and species appropriate but, if he won't eat it, it isn't any good to us. The really bad news for me is that you can only buy a case and cannot return it. Be sure to buy it from Chewy's or some other retailer that understands cat's can be picky eaters so allows you to return food if your cat rejects it. I assumed Amazon would be comparable to every other major online retailer... my mistake. I'll try to give it away.

How many kcals per can
I’ve been reading or attempting to read the ingredients. My cats like the food but I’m curious how many cake cows per can. In which type is best for a cat that needs to lose a lot of weight.

Product is for my cat which has been relabeled, so I wasn’t sure if it was the same product, as I had been having trouble buying it

Severely damaged can in a case
So far out of 2 cases in one case of 24 , 1 can was severely damaged and I will not be using it. I guess it is not a huuuge deal, but it does put a minor dent into price per ounce calculations.

Why does Amazon require vet approval to deliver this product?
It's incredibly expensive and, after I had purchased 3 cases, Amazon labelled the product as "requiring vet approval"---I took a screenshot. WHAT INGREDIENTS ARE THEY USING THAT REQUIRE APPROVAL FROM A VET?? This needs to be reported to Consumers' Protection. Very, very shady
