This book is incredible! You don't have to be a budding astronomer to be fascinated by the universe! This book brings into focus every twinkle of light in the sky that you always wondered about as a child. From the amazingly beautiful and intricate Hubble telescope pictures, to the easy to understand, detailed explanations of the pictures, this book is for everyone. Constellations, nebulas, planets, galaxies, quasars, black holes, and so much more are pictured and explained in this book. It is absolutely fascinating!

Hubble is amazing and this illustrates so many og the amazing discoveries Hubble has uncovered. I look at it about once a year. But don’t expect to see anything close this in your backyard telescope! The pictures are something else. It you like space, you will love this.

I think this is a wonderful book; the pictures are clear, and colors good. The pictures of our solar system andbeyond, are amazing.. There are stars that are being formed, and new solar systems.. It is a wonderful and unique gift for a student of any age. The price is right also.

Hubble is 33 years old with many technological and imaging upgrades along the way. Even though the early celestial images were spectacular, the newer images are even more impressive. This book captures them, which is one reason to buy it. Another reason is there isn't much overlap with previously published images. Also, this book doesn't waste a lot of space explaining telescope tech - but it tells what you need to know. My biggest reason to buy this book (I looked at and compared many) is this book focuses almost entirely on the cosmos not our solar system. Buy a different book for planets and the Sun. Buy this book to see the stars. abh

My 80 year old Dad who was a pilot loves this book. Small print is the only downside.

I bought one for myself and another one for my father and this is gorgeous and fascinating! Good printing quality too.

This book is spectacular and it well worth 40 bucks.
