The KLIM Everest is a great choice for anyone looking to cool their laptop by 5-10°C (depending on ambient temp, workload, laptop spec etc). I initially had a squeaking problem with my unit (perhaps a loose bearing from manufacturing) but KLIM Support was very helpful and took care of the issue - for this solid warranty coverage alone I can recommend it. It works by pushing cold air through the (bottom) intakes of laptop, and features heat deflectors at the back to prevent sucking in warm air from exhausts. There's 6 levels of cooling 1-5 and then "Max". I leave it on 1 when streaming/watching media and Max when gaming. While Max speed is a little loud it's not as loud as my laptop fans so no complaints there. I don't really use the RGB lighting so I appreciate that it can be turned off. It also has dust filters on the intake which prevents the internals of the laptop getting dirty.

However, during intensive tasks like having over 25 browser tabs open while streaming videos, I crank it up to the 5th mode before eventually dialing it back down. A delightful addition is the RGB light feature, which not only adds a touch of fun to my workspace but has also become a favorite for my cat. One of the most significant improvements I've noticed since using this pad is the reduction in noise. The constant noise from my computer's broken fan used to give me severe headaches, but those days are behind me. My productivity has soared, and I can comfortably extend my work hours without any disruptions. I'm genuinely pleased with the quality and performance of the KLIM cooling pad. Works well at cooling a gaming laptop as others have said it can be slightly noisy. However I do not find it over noisy and I can live with a little noise as long as it is doing the job it is supposed to be doing. fan speed is good and whilst it is not cheap again as long as it does it's job it is worth the money

Very effective, and very high quality: foam creates seal, air gets pushed to where it needs to go. Item is designed very well, using high quality materials. It feels premium. Cost point is great considering how good the quality is. Very stable base for my laptop. There's a handy lip to keep it in place when used on high tilt. The fan is also much more powerful than the typical laptop coolers that don't create a seal around the laptop.

I purchased this as my laptop was getting too hot to handle or type on even with using a laptop riser. I can't afford to replace it just yet so decided to try a cooling pad. I've looked at quite a few products and had some in the past that made very little difference, but the reviews for this one were good so I thought I'd try it. Wow, what a difference it makes! My laptop was very hot when I mounted it to the cooling pad, as in I was getting concerned it would burn me. 20 mins later, running the same software and programs as before, it's cool to the touch, and I'm no longer concerned it's going to burn me or my desk. It's not silent, but for the fans to actually do their job in cooling it, I wasn't expecting it to be. It's no worse than running a fan in the room and playing some music drowns out the noise effectively. It runs off a USB and in my case I plugged it into an external power socket to alleviate the power drain on the laptop itself. The foam padding is great at creating an effective seal to really push the air through the laptop. I also like that it comes with air filters for the intakes at the back. So overall, it genuinely works and I can highly recommend it for cooling down a laptop.

It absolutely does not fit my HP Omen 17 2023 (it made the temps HIGHER by 10°C in comparison to a regular cooler as it blocks halves of both the fans) despite saying that it supports 17.3" laptops. The only lucky part is that I could make use of it with my partner's ASUS ROG Zephyrus 15.6" laptop, on which it fits "just enough" when it comes to the fans. And even then, the laptop gets 1-2°C warmer than with a basic 2-100mm-fan laptop stand (which is also MUCH quieter than the Everest). As for the noise, it's only inaudible at level 1. Beyond that, the fans produce a high-pitch noise even more irritating than the ones in my partner's "ultra thin gaming laptop" ROG Zephyrus. The only positives with this cooler are a decent appearance and a dust filter. But for such a high price, I cannot recommend it. There are coolers that do a better job when it comes to cooling, while being cheaper and much quieter. I cannot recommend this one.

Ich hatte schon mehrere Laptop-Lüfter. Zuerst mit 3, sogar mit 10 Lüftern. Es hat auch immer für den Normalbetrieb gereicht. Im Videoschnitt war es dann aber vorbei. Auch mit dem Klim wird das Notebook oben zwar noch recht warm, bei den Vorherigen war es da aber schon "heiß". Die Unterseite ist dafür aber sehr kühl geblieben. Ich denke, da hilft auch dieser Dichtungsring und der Metallplatte auf dem Boden. Nach dem letzten Rendern über 24 Stunden auf höchster Stufe ging leider ein Lüfter des Kühlpads kaputt. Nach kurzem Mailverkehr mit einem Mitarbeiter des Herstellers (in meinem Fall Stephan) wurde mir anstandslos ein neues Gerät zugesendet. Der Kontakt war sehr freundlich und sachlich. Zusammengefasst würde ich das KLIM Everest noch einmal holen. Zum einen hat es für ein USB-Gerät sehr viel Power. Ich denke, stärker geht nur noch mit externem Netzteil. Und ich habe ungern noch mehr Kabel rumfliegen. Zum anderen ist der Kontakt über den Hersteller sehr kompetent und man muss keine Angst haben, abgewimmelt zu werden. Der Versand den Ersatzgerätes erfolgte innerhalb kurzer Zeit.

Ottima base di raffreddamento per PC portatili non superiori a 15 pollici e non estremamente potenti. Secondo me è fattibile anche trasportarla insieme al PC, certo ci vuole una borsa o zaino capiente, ma rispetto ad altre basi mi sembra comoda come dimensioni e peso. Anche la rumorosità secondo me è sopportabile rispetto ad altre basi molto più rumorose. Mi sento di concludere dicendo che per me è un buon compromesso tra potenza rumorosità e portabilità. Come marchio mi sembra affidabile, io ho due basi diverse della KLIM e per ora non mi hanno dato nessun tipo di problema. ATTENZIONE: se il vostro portatile ha il dissipatore di calore sul retro optate per un altro modello perché questa base aspira l'aria fredda proprio da dietro.
