can’t beat it for the price!
I spent hours comparing all the different kinds of plants stands on amazon this summer in anticipation of bringing my houseplants back inside this fall. I was so close to getting a set of those black metal ones with multiple floating shelves, but was really wary of particle board and sub-par lights with chords that would be difficult to hide. Finally came across this one and am so happy I didn’t get the more expensive / fancy metal alternatives!! I like that the bars are made of real wood and the platform connections don’t depend on pre-drilled holes in particle board. I got a set of 6 full spectrum light plates separately and my husband put the whole thing together (it did take some time to zip tie all the lights and wires in place so it didn’t look messy, so don’t rush that part). Probably cost $50 altogether; still way less than other options, and seems much more stable and well-lit. My only negative is that some of the lower shelves are a little short (as you can see I put a couple storage boxes in the shortest spaces because most of my plants are bigger than those heights allow), but overall I’m super happy with how well it works and looks. Very sturdy yet lightweight so it’s easy to move from one place to another, even filled with plants!

Love how it turned out. The directions were a bit confusing but the product is great. It is sturdy and cute.

Easy Assembly - Poor Dye Job
When putting together, I would recommend wearing gloves. The "wood dye" comes off and my hands were covered by the end of assembly. Sturdy framework and looks well overall.

So complicated putting together
I really hate leaving negative reviews. However, this thing was impossible to understand. I’m usually pretty good at figuring things out but not this. I had to take the parts off several times and it still wasn’t matching up with the picture. I love the idea, but so terrible setting up. It left me very frustrated and I just had to leave it without it being right which kills me. I should have taken the advice and not bought because it wasn’t worth it!
