this pepper mill has a metal grinding system. this is all important since normally they have plastic these days and this breaks down quickly with pepper.this mill easily makes small and larger peppercorn flakes. the natural wood of the mill has a warm and solid feeling and looks really good in my kitchen. the price is high but if it keeps for ten years or so then it will have been worth it. we will see. i can recommend this product to anyone who loves solid wood and good grinding quality. also ideal as a present for ladies and gentlemen who cook.

This "DeroTeno" salt and pepper mill set is aesthetically pleasing, with an overall quality that is very good, the finish on the Acacia wood in particular (both salt and pepper mills, and the tray), is really nice. Acacia wood is hard wearing, the wood is also quite dense, resulting in a decent weight for each mill, which gives a feel of additional quality, coinciding with the comfortable ergonomic shape. The grinding mechanism for each mill appears to be quite robust, and features an easy method of adjustment for a finer, or a coarser grind.

As a pepper mill, it makes a really good ornament. It doesn’t grind pepper.

This set was not expensive but so far seems to be excellent. The wood is smooth and the pepper pot has a metal grinder which I wanted after many ceramic sets which eventually failed trying to grind pepper. Hopefully this set will last for a good long while.

Serves our purposes. Grinds easily. Comes with an extra salt grinding blade. Would recommend.

The media could not be loaded. First thing is they sent a extra ceramic grinder insert for the salt shaker. The quality of the wood and the overall appearance is great and very impressed. Can’t wait to get the peppercorns and salt to try them out. Will update.

Deze pepermolen is echt goed, maalt de peperkorrels fijn. Het model is anders dan andere molens. Ligt goed in de hand en het maken gaat heel makkelijk.

je suis tres contente avec les 2 moulins: un avec mechanisme de rvs (poivre) et unceramique(sel). ca fontionne tres bien , aussi avec le poivre sechuan.
