I used the shark bite connector to install a new outside water spicket. Worked much better then the other brand I got at the local Menards. They leaked, the shark bite did not.

You can't go wrong with Sharkbite products! I plumbed the copper pipe in my house to bypass the whole house carbon filter and water softener to the two outside pipes that I use for watering my lawn/garden and washing my car.Needless to say the installation was easy and more importantly there are no leaks. Note that this product is the 2nd generation of Sharkbite fittings, i.e. Sharkbite MAX. It has an improved pressure rating and is just as simple as the 1st gen fittings.Yes, I recommend this product!

Easy installation
These really work. They’re easy to remove if you make a mistake and be reinstalled without any damage. They are expensive but the cost of all soldering materials and your time can really add up too. Love these connectors.
