The tea is good but it has a very strong spice that takes away the flavor of the other spices. Other than that it's good.

I have used this product for a few years - I add it to my regular tea. Not too spicy and always good. Pride of India is a good company and I also like their Stress Relief Tea.

I buy powdered chai because between work and home I never have time to brew up my own. I like a spicy chai that is not too sweet.When I first opened the bag, I noticed the odd smell that another review commented on. It smells a little of cheese, and I was worried the milk powder might be off, but I kept an open mind and mixed it up according to directions. I'm glad I did! It tastes great!This is a very flavorful mix. I think the person who said it wasn't must have added too much water. I like even MORE spice in my chai, but you can definitely taste the spice. It's a warm flavor, mostly cinnamon and ginger with a hint of clove. The cardamom is there but not too strong.If this mix wasn't a little too sweet, I'd give it five stars. But it's a little too sugary for me. I'll adjust it in the future by adding some extra spices and a little less of the mix. And maybe next time I'll get the unsweetened variety.I like that this chai mix doesn't leave a residue of coarsely ground spices in the bottom of the cup like my previous favorite.Disclaimer: the seller surprised me by including a free box of their bagged herbal tea to try, and invited me to post a review. Taste was good, & really easy to prepare! Trying different products added to it like almond milk other dairy to make creamier. Overall yummy. Small jar goes fast so I put myself on one cup per week lol I need more I guess.

I was looking for an instant tea mix to have on hand for when I forget to restock on fresh milk for my tea. Most other pre-mix coffee or tea come with lot of preservatives or artificial flavoring. But this Pride of India Masala Chai has real ingredients and the taste shows the difference. Smooth, spiced and rich. A perfect cup of masala chai! It is a bit on the sweeter side but, an Indian cup of tea is barely 5-6oz so it is not too much sugar in 1 serving. From the size of the jar it like it will be enough for 15-20 cups.

This is my second order, not too spicy a mild chai. Creams well when blended with a spoon or frother.

First let's talk attention to detail. Instructions say one scoop or 3 tsp. Well, there is no scoop. Three tsp? Wouldn't that be a tbsp? Tried 3 tsp, and yes, it should be 3 tbsp. Now let's talk about that smell. The distinct smell of vomit when you open the lid. So either a worker threw up in the mix (and I'm hoping that's not the case, for many reasons), or they used powdered milk made from some soured milk. The actual taste of the tea is not horrible, but not wonderful. At least once it's prepared you don't smell vomit.

I loved it until I used my Weight Watcher’s checker on the bar code and found it is 9 points a cup. I only get 16 for my whole days food so I guess it’s goodbye morning chai. 170 calories was bad but it’s what’s in the calories that makes it a killer! SAD BUT TRUE

Easy to use, but not quite what I had hoped for.....

I usually feel sick from powdered chai or latte beverages. That lack of fresh ingredients must be why. This product however is remarkable. I was a little bit weary to try it, but I tossed it on to a larger Amazon order for kicks. I am sooooo happy I did! This not only tastes delicious, there was no sick feeling! I highly recommend! Don’t mind me while I stock up on more!

Quantity for price is no good. You have to add a bit extra to each cup so you end up getting roughly 10 to 13 servings if that. There is no expiration date nor a production date. The dairy in the product creates a very very cheesy smell which goes away once the water hits it however its strong (kd powder atrong). The seal under the lid is made of a foil. This foil has tiny pieces break off that gets mixed into the powder. I had to spend quite a while sifting and checking the powder for pieces. I'm sure I drank some by the time I found out.

Excellent. I will buy this again. I've bought several version of chai latte, both on Amazon and off, and this is my favourite blend. Rich taste and it doesn't skimp on the proper spices and cardamom. Delicious! Easy to make - just add water. And you can try it hot or cold.

I just received my first jar and tried it. If you love the Starbucks Chai latte then you'ill adore this premix. Easy to make, just add water. I find the taste is much more savory then Starbucks Cahi latte, with 3x less calories. After just one cup I decided to order the 1kg bag !! Best part is that I can have a delicious cup anytime.
