I almost cancelled the order because I noticed after hitting the order button that it was only 4' long and I had wanted 6', but I'm so glad I didn't. After using this leash on just one walk, my pup was so much calmer and so was I. We have gone through a leash almost every other month since we got our mini Aussie 10 months ago -- he loves to play chew them when he's bored at the end of our walks. No chewing this one! And the handle is so comfortable -- made of thick foam material. The shorter length isn't an issue -- I feel much more control over my energetic Aussie!

I have a beautiful 7 month old lab pup who loves to hang onto the leash as we walk. Only problem is before the walk is done a regular leash never makes it as she chews thru it. There is no chewing this one up! Its already paid for itself. I went thru two leashes in a weeks time, this one is still in tact. I thought the leash was very well made and seemed sturdy. Unfortunately, my dog chewed through this leash. He is a puppy and chews everything.

While the leash is sturdy, as time goes on my large puppy has spent enough time pulling while wearing the leash and as a result the “handle” now is so small that I can barely fit 1 finger into it. Essentially, the handle has disappeared. Had I known this I would NOT have ordered it.

I love this leash. It's the best for a puppy who is learning to heel and not chew on the leash!
