Blue & White Deluxe Tapered Hanukkah Menorah Candles for All 8 Nights of Chanukah, 45 Minute Burn Time

These are great candles that burn for about an hour.

Worst Hanukkah candles ever!! For one, they are laughably not dripless, they are very melty and will drip on you. They take an extremely long time to light and we have had to go back consistently to relight candles again and again during the prayer, presumably because the wax immediately melts onto the wick. Lastly, and perhaps most unforgivably, there is not a spare candle in the box so there is absolutely no room for error! Once lit, they do seem to burn uniformly and are nice to look at, but I would not recommend these candles to anyone.

I order candles every year and these were perfect!

The candles are lovely and seem well made but were very difficult to keep lit until quite a bit of the wax burned away. I love candles but dreaded lighting these every night because they were so fussy. Once they stayed lit, they were lovely and burned for well over an hour.

Good news - they fit very nicely into our menorah and are pretty blue and white. That's it for the good news. Bad news - they were difficult to light and a couple went out during the prayers. They are not dripless and I now have a mess to clean from having to use the shamash to keep lighting and re-lighting the others. After using what we need for the last night, in the trash the rest will go. The Ner Mitzvah Dripless Chanukah Candles that I ran out of were a bit too thin for the menorah, but wow, they lit easily, not a drop of wax fell and looked beautiful. Will spend the extra few dollars and get those again.

Usually I get my candles from Target but this year I decided to have them delivered and I really do wish I would’ve just gotten in the car and gone to Target like I always do. These candles have an unnecessarily long wick and although they did not make a big dripping waxy mess - it was frustrating to keep these candles lit at the initial lighting and really added unnecessary stress to such a beautiful holiday. We kept having to go back & re-light and some candles just refused to stay lit. With some tinkering we eventually got them all to light for all the nights of Hanukkah but it was a concern that with as many candles that were defective we wouldn’t have enough for the entire holiday.
