Life Changing Thanks to this Book!
I love this book! Where has it been for 40 years of my life? I heard about this diet and life style change back in the late 1990’s, I recall an interview on TV with a famous Friends sitcom actress from American, but it was hard back in those days to find any info on the diet- we didn’t have Amazon back then ;)The way this book explains the science is fantastic and easy to follow. Learning about the human species blood groups is fascinating! It has an entire section on my Blood Type A diet, what exercises my blood type likes best, supplements, meals plans and a 10day kick start plan- and this is for all blood groups! It has case studies on patients who have used the diet to help them with a multitude of illnesses. There is even references on specific things that the blood groups should look out for and help improve if you have symptoms.I’ve been following the Type A diet since Jan 2022 and I feel great. The weight is dropping off me as I type this review. I feel healthier, no more feeling bloated, my skin looks better and I don’t miss red meat or dairy at all as I can eat certain fish, chicken and goats cheese (feta, halloumi), but I am now for the first time in my life predominately vegetarian/vegan. Lucky I live in 2022 where variety of food is so more readily available! My husband is Type O and also started in Jan. He has suffered for years with IBS, bloating and fatigue and now loves this new life style change. He eats plenty of red meat, has stopped eating wheat and dairy which has hugely improved his IBS and tiredness where no other medical prescriptions could. The weight has dropped off him and what’s even better is neither of us are having to count calories, or to stop eating carbohydrates (which is a ridiculous thing to do- and the book explains why!), or to stop eating nice things. Only the other day I ate a plant based waffle with vegan ice cream, maple syrup and strawberries on top- yum!We also purchased the Eat Right 4 Your Type recipes books which has similar meals (just substitute certain ingredients) which makes meal times easy to manage for our two very different blood type diets. There is also The Blood Type Diet app which the book talks about- we downloaded this as it has the list of all the foods and the ability to create a shopping list. Much easier than walking around the supermarket with the book. The only things I would say is you do sometimes have to check the English wording as everything is written in American English. If you don’t know your blood type group you can also purchase a test kit from Amazon! It’s easy to do the test, takes seconds!I love this book so much I’ve recommended it to all my family and friends and I would highly recommend it - even if all you do is read the contents and decide for yourself if the science is compelling enough to make you change!Happy reading!

Positive reveiw
Whilst on holiday I borrowed a friend's hardback copy of "Eat Right 4 Your Type" which convinced me to buy my own for longer term consultation and use. I couldn't source the book locally back home and when I viewed at Amazon.com saw and ordered the more affordable paperback version. There are specific sections for each blood group type so the book caters for all family members. Using the book in practice is very straightforward. For ease of use foods are categorised by type e.g. Meats and poultry, vegetables, beverages, spices ... and for clarity separated into "highly beneficial", "neutral" and "avoid". According to the book (as a type A) I should avoid meat (although turkey and chicken can be tolerated), potatoes, tomatoes and beer and I am not suited to strenuous exercise. Giving up red meat and potatoes has been no problem. For fifty years I have enjoyed strenuous exercise and beer is an essential food for hashing. I also lived in Italy for twenty-four years, have a pizza oven so giving up tomato sauce is a stumbling block, some things you don't mess with. On the authors website www.dadamo.com I found an update regarding beer type O and non-secreting type A. That is: an update so maybe other ... I'm A rh negative and good news I can drink beer if I'm non-secreting but I'm not ready to check ... Just in case. I've read a few diet books and this is one of them. I gave 4 out of 5 but 9 out of 10 more realistic. I recommend you to buy this book.Although there are abridged versions of the book available specific to each blood group they don't give the whole story so the full book is essential reading for a complete understanding. I am blood type A so in addition I also ordered "Eat Right 4 Blood Type A" for myself.

Read this book!!!!
I have been following this diet for almost 15 years and it has been life changing in terms of managing my health and well-being. I bought a new copy as my original one went missing when I moved house. The new version has even more information and I continue to enjoy improved health after all the years I have followed this sensible way of living - not a diet to loose weight (although that is a happy side effects of eating the right food for your body), a diet to achieve and maintain better quality health. Everyone should read this book!

Do you want to feel on top of the world
This book was recommended to me by a friend whose husband had diabetes, he lost five stones on it - he is Blood Group A, and is fully in control of his diabetes.Being extremely overweight myself I looked at the book with my daughter, neither of us knew our blood group but we both worked out what we thought we should be by what was written in the book, we checked and Bingo we were both right.I am an O, the cave man. I was a tea aholic before starting this way of life and drank gallons of black tea. Treat it like being a diabetic, if you are not allowed tea, wheat, pork etc lik me what the heck there are so many other things that you are allowed. This is a way of life that I wont change. By being careful on what you do eat the weight is dropping off , nearly four stones since January, I had tried every other diet imaginable. You can eat so much and the bonus is on day 3 if you are really, really good you get this energy burst. I am full of energy, I thought that my tiredness was due to the excess weight, but it isn't it is due to putting the wrong fuel in, imagine what would happen if you put Diesel in your unleaded Car, it would become sluggish and stop.I could go on and on I feel like an evangelist, but please give it a go at first sight it isnt easy but work at it, you will soon find meals that you enjoy.Michelle

VERY EDUCATIONAL! EYE OPENER!
Reading this book is so interesting as I am A+ blood and my mom & boyfriend are O blood types & I have witnessed how much better they metabolize meat.I was vegan for a year at a point and thrived and boyfriend tried and his body totally was shutting down getting sick and weak. Also helped me understand what illnesses each blood type is more prone to, exercises recommended, food groups that are beneficial and negative, and helped me understand why I tend to be more in fight or flight mode.

The book is a game changer
Wherever you are at with your health this book gives such a new and interesting perspective. I've been following my blood type suggestions and have had so much more energy as of late. My blood type matches so much of my likes and dislikes that I never realized were related to my blood type. If you are looking for a new way of thinking I highly recommend!
