I have been disappointed with another product
I was a bit wary of this because of only 2 brief reviews. I have been disappointed with another product, and the original Microsoft one failed in under 2 years (wire coming loose with intermittent contact on the DC side of the transformer). I have now been using this for a week and it appears to work as well as the original. Unlike some other models the charging led only comes on when the connector is attached. The magnetic attachment is as good as that on the original. At this point all cables seem well connected. The only thing to note is that the AC cable connector to the transformer is quite stiff - unless you push it in very firmly until it clicks it comes loose easily.

OK but....
Externally it appears all but identical to the genuine Microsoft product, except it doesn't have the logo label.Appears to charge the Surface OK (Surface Pro 2017, m3) but the USB output was effectively nil - %v no load, but as soon as any load was put on it, no output.

So far works as the original charger does but substantially cheaper! Time will tell how it holds up

Great value charger for Surface Book 2
Charger costs less than a third of Microsoft's one and works for a Surface Book 2. Arrived next day within delivery time specified - job done!

Great for Surface Book 2
Great power supply for my Surface Book 2. Having the USB slot also frees up the two USB slots on my PC so I don't have to use them for charging now.
