Feels great to hold
Very heavy duty, and heavy! Feels great to hold, solid metal construction. The only reason I gave this four stars is because it does not measure in fractional inches, only decimal, and millimeters. A little frustrating.

Loses readings in outside winter moisture when testing depth.
Product is heavy duty, however company will not approve a calibration certificate for regular use due to moisture causing false readings on depth measurement. Product has to be adaptable under conditions. Also company has to have track record of reliability and traceability...other than that, its great for the garage at home.
