Will this work with thermacell mats?

Thermacell mats are roughly 1.34" x 1.93" which means they're too large to work unmodified in the lantern/repeller. You will need to cut one Thermacell mat in half and potentially do some additional trimming. Note that this unit has two slots for pads.

Can you run the mosquito repellent and LED simultaneously?
