Great Linux USB adapter
Works great with RasPi Linux out of the box. I needed a USB dongle that had external antenna connectors and support for Passpoint (Hotspot 2.0) - this does both.

Works great
On Windows Make sure that you install the wifi, Bluetooth, and patch drivers. You may need to disable the Bluetooth service, or the Bluetooth device and reboot to get this working. If you have an existing Bluetooth adapter, disable on of these as windows only seems to like a single Bluetooth adapter. On linux, you may need to many place the drivers in /usr/lib/firmware or appropriate location for your distro. Btusb should be disabled if you have two Bluetooth adapters as this device may hang on Bluetooth discovery. You can disable and re-enable Bluetooth service and btusb after the wifi is active. Recommend getting a pair of bingfu antennas or any omnidirectional antenna. The gigabyte fin antennas are the best deal that actually increase range.

Never could get it to work on my Ubuntu 22.04
This was supposed to be a plug and play USB wifi. It is supposed to be compatible with my Linux kernel (6.5.0-26-generic) on Ubuntu 22.04. I could not get it to work. Email tech support responded but was of very little help. I am sending it back. Very frustrating.

Good enough
It amplifies the free wifi from the library across the street just enough to play free TV but cuts out from time to time. It's definitely the adapter doing it but whatever, I like it better than the others I got

Nice plug and play adapter
Works good just cant get the bluetooth to work on it. Downloaded Bluetooth firmware for windows 11 and does not work also bluetooth feature does not work for linux either. Maybe its just my device other then that it works good for what i needed which is packet injection

Would not recommend this device to anyone unless they only use it for Linux
Device worked fine for a while on both linux and windows but now it will not work on windows. I have tried going into device manager disabling & enabling. I have tried uninstalling the driver and resinstalling. I have tried power cycling my computer still nothing. I have waisted hours trying to fix this stupid and needless problem and its gotten to the point to where my frustration levels are through the roof. Then only thing that worked previously was to roll-back the driver but now I cant even do that. The only reason this device isn't getting zero stars is that it still works perfect on linux. Though I would still not recommend anybody buy this adapter until it has better support for its drivers.

Fast and easy installation in Linux
Working with Linux 6.x kernel module and IWD right out of the box; just plug and play. The connection is much faster and more stable than with the Intel AC chip embedded in the motherboard.

Good choice of chipset, and 6 GHz enabled

[Tested on Ubuntu 24.04 (two separate machines) and Windows 11] First things first, this device is not plug and play, Windows is not able to run it and the link to the drivers that Alfa themselves provide is dead. On linux, after installing the correct drivers (with no guidance from Alfa whatsoever), it simply does not work as it draws too much power, despite being tested on a modern motherboard which has USB 2.0, 3.0 and 3.2. At this point I'm done troubleshooting and I will be returning it as it nothing more than a plastic brick with a blue led on it. This issue is not isolated, and a quick google search will return dozens of posts complaining that this usb wifi adapter does not work in any way shape or form.

This product works great. It is fully compatible with kali. Does monitor mode and packet injection. Works great. Highly recommended. If your after a wifi adapter where you can test your network security then this USB adapter is the one you want
