The set looks exactly like pictured. I love the design of the knives. They are built sturdy and sharp, good sharpener on the side, and a timer. I like the timer set in it, but I have had it stop in the middle of a time set a couple times.

Keep in mind I’m used to cheap Walmart knives. These knives cut SO much easier. The attached sharpener is a great touch. The timer doesn’t really work, but I don’t care too much about it in this day and age.

Easy to handle

I am a kitchen knife aficionado, but I thought I'd give these a try as a backup set to my name brand, high end set.However.... I was severely impressed. I discounted this item merely because it cost way less than my set, but they honestly cut through each item (fruits including watermelon, meats, fileting fish, etc.) with pure ease and finesse. The set is also a nice item displayed on my countertop, and thankfully (unlike other similar items), I don't mind the label being on the block and knives as they have a nice logo.10/10 recommend if you're looking for a cost effective set that can compete with high end knife sets!

I have been looking for a knife set that wouldn’t take up a ton of room in my small apartment kitchen and I finally decided to get these and I am very happy with my choice. I love the black block and the variety of knives. They have a great weight to them and the quality is great. They were not super sharp upon arrival but there’s a built in sharpener right on the block which was a huge selling point for me and it was super easy to use. I highly recommend this set. They are definitely worth the price point

These knives from Hanmaster are fantastic! They are so much better than the previous set I owned. The sharpness of the knives is quite impressive, and they cut with precision. The black knife block they come with is heavy and adds a touch of elegance to my kitchen counter. Holding them feels comfortable and they are easy to grip. The built-in knife sharpener is a great addition and I can see myself using it often. Overall, I am very satisfied with this knife set and I am excited to use them for many years to come.

It has been a long time coming for me to get a new knife set, my old ones are 25 years old, and I just can't sharpen them enough anymore. This beautiful Hanmaster Knife Set is exactly what I've been needing and wanting!I am very impressed with the single-steel piece construction- no more having to keep wooden handles oiled, no places for water to get trapped.These knives came with plastic covers on the tips to prevent any accidents when unboxing -a nice and thoughtful touch!The knives felt a bit light at first, but they seem to be very well-balanced, and they are easy to hold. They are SHARP too! The fist thing I sliced was some potatoes and the knife just slid through them like a dream... Looking back on my old set feels like I've been cutting with a butter knife.The block is very nice, and looks great on my countertop. I really like the handy and convenient sharpener on the side too, no more digging in a drawer to find my old little hand-held one.The timer isn't great, it barely dings when turning the handle, makes quiet little clicking sounds while running -and then nothing when time runs out. It's accurate so far, but my house is noisy and my hearing isn't great, so this timer is nearly useless to me. No matter, I didn't pick this knife set out for a timer function.I appreciate having six steak knives over my old four, and my husband accidentally put scores into a plate when using one of the new steak knives the first time.The scissors handles are a bit small, I can only get two or three fingers into the handle, but they are sharp and work great for trimming chicken. The paring knife is longer than my old one, perfect for slicing mangoes!All in all, I'm quite happy with this set, it's reasonably priced for quality construction, and so pretty too!. It would be great as a wedding or housewarming gift, or to kick your old, dull knives out the door.

I thought it would be a cheap looking set but to my surprise I was actually quite impressed on how lovely and sharp these knives are and how beautiful they look.Now to see if they last . 🤔

What difference it makes when the knife you're using is sharp!

Very sharp knives..... bt quite thin..... as a result... i dont feel has comfortable when cutting (esp with the chefs knife)The finish is lovely.... bt if you want heavier knives .... keep looking!

The scissors are a bit awkward with only the finger holes having small padding and no padding on the outside, but other than that very nice
