Use it for curries!
Use it for my curry cooking, it adds some extra flavour to it. A lot of Bengali curries ask for mustard oil to be used and it tastes delicious. It is ana excellent value for money as well. I have ordered three bottles up to date.

Very confusing usage instructions
The bottle comes with a price label already showing £2.89 but I paid over £5.00 for it. It also comes with "Not for consumption, do not eat" instructions all over it. Apparently it is an oil for skin massage and hair treatment use. It looks as it is actually sold as a culinary oil and if you consult the feedback some DO use it for cooking whilst others warn of not using it. Confused? Just a bit!!!!

Phenomenal oil for use in curries
I purchased this oil to make a particular okra masala, but it will make a wonderful base for any curry sauce. It tolerates extreme heating, but we aware that it will make your eyes water as it reaches smoking point. As for the whole debate about internal use only, mustard oil is high in erucic acid which was linked to cardiac concerns in the 1970s. Those concerns were soon eliminated, but the bureaucrats have clung to it. But hey, millions of people around the world are consuming it regularly and I'm now another of them.
