These really work!
These are the best traction socks I’ve ever used and after having MANY senior dogs I’ve tried a lot! They are easy to apply since there isn’t a top and bottom side, they stay on great even through vigorous rough housing among the pack. They seem to be durable with no peeling or flaking of the traction strips. And my older boy loves them! He jumps in and plays with the younger dog with no hesitation now, and even initiates playtime. He isn’t slipping or having his back feet slide from under him and him land hard on his hip. He gets up easier from sitting and lyingDisclaimer He is a retired working dog, so is used to wearing shoes. If your dog isn’t a “shoe wearer” be patient and with short exposure of a few minutes increasing each day the dog will acclimate and stop fussing about wearing the socks.

Great dog booties
These work perfectly! I bought because my dog had a lump removed on his paw and I don’t want him to lick it. It worked perfectly for that and we got 4” of snow last night and these stay on in the snow and doesn’t bother him at all. Measuring the paw is key. I thought they’d be too small when they arrived, but they fit snug and therefore stay on and he walks fine. I had to make the strap tighter in the snow. These really are great! Update: After wearing for 6 days, one got a hole in it. I'm going to exchange for another pair, because they work so well, but not sure how long they'll last.

Pretty good dog socks
1. Fits well & the anti slip grip works well on our hard wood floors to keep him from slipping.2. I like how these socks are longer than most making them a bit more stable than the short socks.3. Cotton quality is well made & the socks are a good thickness.4. The socks stretch decently & can be a bit of a challenge putting them on but it's not hard or bad. I've had some socks that were pretty loose on the stretching which caused them to constantly fall down their leg. These socks are a bit snug but it helps to keep them on without it constantly sliding down their legs.5. Velcro strap needs improvement. The strap is nice to add more stable support to help keeps the socks on & in place HOWEVER it it too short. Not all dogs legs are slim & as you can see in my, my boy is big & his legs are pretty thick. I was barely able to wrap the Velcro strip around & get it to attach. Some times is doesn't hold because not enough strap to attach. I'm unfortunately going to have to sew on an extension.Overall these socks are a lot bette than other ones I've tried. My boy has a slighy injury to his right paw & I'm using these socks to keep him from licking his paw while it heals keeping me from having to use an Elizabethan collar.

These sox's are incredible
This past week we went to Tahoe where we rented a home with slippery wood steps and floors. Our 9 year old collie had a lot of problems climbing the stairs until we put on the Dox socks. We had taken them with us if the streets would be slippery but that was not the case last week. Thank goodness we had the socks with us because they worked like a charm. They were easy to put on and off and stayed on his rear legs perfectly. He was able to climb the stairs with no problems. Brady is a BIG boy at 95 lbs and and we could tell the socks made him comfortable over the vacation. They are not waterproof but dry pretty quickly so we used them on all our walks in Tahoe. These are a REALLY great product and do exactly what they are meant to do. Do not hesitate to purchase a pair or 2.

Great for Very-Short-Term Use; They're Functionally "Very-Short-Term Disposable" Socks
We bought these socks for our golden retriever after we had our hardwood floors resurfaced. Our contractor recommended that our dog wear socks for at least 30 days while the coating on the hardwoods cures. Here's our impression after four weeks of use and wear:Pros:- They're easy to put on the dog, because they're stretchy, they have treads all over (such that there isn't just "one way" to put them on), and the Velcro is sewn on to the socks so you don't lose or fumble around with the Velcro strap.- Because the socks are stretchy, one size fits all four of our dog’s feet. We tried some more-durable, “formed” dog shoes, and we discovered that our dog’s back feet were a full size smaller than its front feet, such that the shoes were too big for the back feet and would fall off easily. That isn’t an issue or problem with these socks.- Unlike some other socks, the Velcro hooks face inward and thus cling to the socks. We’ve bought some other socks and shoes in which the Velcro hooks face outward, and with those, the hooks often cling to a rug or mat when the dog lays down, which can fray the rug or mat and sometimes pull the sock off of the dog's foot.- They're apparently comfortable for the dog, and our dog adapted to them very quickly.- They provide the dog with ample traction on the slippery, newly refinished floors.- They protect the floors from the dog's nails.Cons:-They're flimsy and disintegrate easily. The lower half of the sock (with the treads) wears and develops holes quickly even with mild indoor-only use. It develops holes pretty quickly from the inside of the socks from the dog’s nails, even though we keep our dog’s nails trimmed. If the dog feels an itch in her paw and tries to mouth or gnaw it (as dogs do), the sock develops holes quickly and with no real "chewing." We solved that issue by spraying "bitter apple" on the socks, but it requires a lot of bitter apple to spray the front and back of four socks, and that adds to the overall expense of the socks. To my surprise, the package for these socks suggests that the socks are suitable for use on pavement. We haven't purposely used these socks outside or on pavement. But on one occasion, when I was putting the socks on our dog in our garage, she escaped and scampered around outside on the pavement for a few minutes. By the time that I corralled her, the bottom half of the two socks that she was wearing were totally decimated. If you're thinking about using these socks on your dog outside, I'd think that these socks would deteriorate very quickly on pavement, even during a basic walk.- They're expensive and a terrible value over time. Because of the issues described above, we've gone through *six sets* of these over just *four weeks.* If we were inclined to have our dog wear socks on our hardwoods permanently or during a longer period, the expense of these socks (particularly when you include the expense of dousing them with bitter apple) would not be sustainable for us.Bottom line, I think these are a great product for very-short-term indoor use. Unless you have tons of cash to spend on dog socks, I do not recommend these socks for longer-term indoor use. (I’m still searching for my long-term solution!) I would not recommend them at all for outdoor walks on pavement.

Worth the extra money
These are really nice and I would definitely recommend. They are a comfortable stretchy sock material (not too thin or thick) and the gripping is on all sides, so if the sock twists, they still have good footing. The Velcro strap is sewn in and they are pretty easy to put on. My dog, doesn’t like other booties, but adjusted to wearing these right away. It helps her have better traction on my hardwood floors. Quality item which I would buy again.

Easy to put on
Sizing is true . Easy to put on my dog and take off after use. Velcro keeps sock in place. The long leg is super convenient. Grip on base is great quality.

Size options
Ordered the small for my dogs back paws and they were a bit to tight so I ordered the medium and they were wayyyy bigger. To big for even her front paws which are probably one and a half times the size of her back paws. However the product is great itself. Company just needs to have more sizes, they don’t have a huge leap between.

Super for older dogs on slippery floors
We have an older dog who could not sit without sliding his front paws and slipping down the stairs etc. now he wears these indoors to help ease the difficulties our wood and tile flooring cause him. Yes it is work to take on and off but we are saving him from injury and stress. He sometimes licks them but we just tell him No. they are fairly easy to get on but our dog is happy as long as someone is paying attention to him - some dogs it may take a while to get used to. Very easy to get off. Having grip around the entire sock means he’s always got traction even if they spin around on his paws. We will buy another pair so one can go in the wash and one can be on.
