We have three in the house and they are very strong and sturdy because my husband needssomething like this couch cane to help him get out of his chair .

Bought this for my disabled husband who has trouble getting up from our sofa which is quite low. Riser is pretty stable and has certainly helped.

The has a large base which fits under the chair legs providing a strong support to aid stability. I would encourage users to wear a fall alarm when they need this device just in case the worst happens.

I purchased this for my mother who has arthritis in her knees and therefore finds it very difficult getting in and out of her armchair. Having the chair riser has made this task a lot easier for her, she is very pleased with it.

Bought this for my pregnant wife less than 2 months ago to help her get off the sofa. The joint snapped as she was pulling herself up and she fell back. This is very dangerous and should not happen. She is not heavy (around 65-70kg) so not sure what would happen with a heavier person. I would like to get my money back as £146 for this dangerous piece of kit is not acceptable (I didn't want to give it any stars but had to give 1 in order to submit the review).

Über Kratzer und andere Schönheitsfehler sieht man da hinweg.aber leider hat sich nach dem Zusammenbau herausgestellt, dass dieser Aufstehhilfe, befestigt mit einem einzigen Schraubbolzen im unteren Bereich die erforderliche Stabilität für die Funktion Aufstehhilfe für meine hochaltrige 90jährige Mutter fehlte. Möglicherweise ein Grund für die Rückgabe durch den Vorbesitzer? Aus Sicherheitsaspekten habe ich die Couchane Aufstehhilfe zurückgeschickt und von Amazon den Kaufpreis rückerstattet bekommen. Ich betone ausdrücklich, dass sich meine REzension auf den gebrauchten Zustand bezieht.
