Not reusable
My nasal walls were irritated by whatever the structure is made from. Not sure if there's latex in there?I wore it for quite a long time to see if I adjusted to it, but didn't.As it happens, I wouldn't consider it an ongoing solution since they're not reusable. They're not subtle enough to be able to wear in public. I tried, the first person I saw thought I had a snot under my nose.

Anything to help with hay fever is worth a try!
I was pleased to try these 'Nasal Medical Allergy Nasal Filters - Breathable Nose Plugs for Natural Allergy Relief - Helps Prevent Hay Fever and Allergic Rhinitis Symptoms (Small 4 Pack). Anything to help with hay fever is worth a try!1. You get 4 filters in a blister type pack, within a branded cardboard box that also has an instruction leaflet.2. Small was definitely the right size for me and following the instructions, I was able to fit them successfully. When in place they are comfortable, not exceptionally but I am willing to put up with anything (even looking weird when I am down the allotment with them in).3. For me - allergic to grass pollen, the season is only just starting due to the long periods of rain retarding it by a few weeks. This means that I haven't been able to test the effectiveness fully - I cut the grass with them in and had no symptoms but I don't know if I would have had symptoms without them in. I can see the thought process behind the gadgets though and have high hopes that I will get some relief when gardening.4. Great that they are hypoallergenic and latex free. Apparently they are washable and reusable and will last 2 - 5 days at a maximum of 12 hours per day or night.5. The price of £9.99 is fair in my opinion.

Not comfy
I've been doing a lot of brush up outside as we've been having a lot of work done on the outside of our house and we needed a lot of dirt and hubby has been wheelbarrowing that from one side to the other, so there is a lot of dust and dirt that needs brushing up. This work has been causing me a lot of issues, sparking off allergic reactions making me sneeze and have a runny nose the day after I've been doing it. I thought these nasal filters might help. I was sent the small size to test and they seem a bit big for me. I found it a bit difficult to install them, particularly in my left nostril, which I've just learned is smaller than the other one, who knew! Once I finally got them in, I could still feel them but I could breath easily and they didn't feel like they were restrictive in any way at all. I went outside and did some brushing and by the time I came in they were itching and prickly in my nostrils. Rubbing and poking my nose didn't help, as it rarely does for anything, and eventually the right one popped out! My nose felt so sore at this point that I took them out completely and had to apply some Naseptin cream that the doctor gave me for my dust allergy and nose bleeds. I don't think these are for me, I'll try them again since there are 4 sets in the pack but I doubt I'll be buying them. I think that maybe if you have larger nostrils than I then you might get on better with them, they certainly didn't restrict my breathing at all and I do struggle with that since I had a pulmonary embolism, so there's no need to worry on that score, it's purely the comfort of them that I didn't get on with, itching and scratching, they need to be softer for me. It will be tomorrow before I know if they helped shield me from the dust as it always seems to be the day after that I suffer with the sneezing and runny nose, so I'll update as to how effective they are at stopping my allergic reaction when I know.

Worked for me!
I am normally allergic to dust. I had been wearing these nose filters for two weeks. I found them effective in blocking out air particles and comfortable to wear. It took me couple of days to get used to wearing them. For Day 1, I was conscious of these filters being there in my nostrils. At first, I noticed resistance in my breathing. By Day 3, I got used to them being there in my nostrils.Inserting these filters were pretty straight forever, I put them on in front of a mirror, so I know they have been put on correctly. These filters stayed in place once lodged in my nostrils and I got on my life as normal.I noted on the accompanying product information & instructions sheet. It recommends that each set of filters is for single use, however they are washable.I only wore them during the day when I went out. These filters did work for me as I noted that I didn’t sneeze when I had them in my nostrils. At the end of the day, I washed them and then let them air dry. They worked fine the following day. I would recommend these products to you.

Quite fiddly to insert ..
Great idea but in practise very fiddle. Took a few attempts to get it in the correct orientation to insert and it feels pretty strange. When trying to insert there was some plastic that was scratching the inside of the nasal passage, I did have to trim and smooth it out with some nail clippers!! This was just some plastic left over from the injection moulding production process. After that it was a simple case of hold in the correct position and clip it in. I did feel that it would fall out but it seemed pretty secure. it wasn't exactly comfortable and takes getting used to it clipped to your septum. The tiny mesh does sort of obstruct possible pollen from entering but barrage of mucus that could potentially start to run would just build up.In our current climate a mask would probably be easier and more comfortable.Would I recommend this product? Its not for me but it might be for you
