Castor Oil Organic Cold Pressed Unrefined Glass Bottle (8fl.oz/237ml), Castor Oil Pack Wrap Organic Cotton and Castor Oil Packs for Liver Detox

This is the 3rd time I purchase pack (twice for me and once for my boyfriend.)I’ll start my review with the oil. This oil is superior to the other organic one I’ve tried from Heritage Store, (pink label). I find that this oil is quicker and more efficient than that one. And I would know. I’ve been applying the pack to my stomach area to heal my gut problems and this oil has immediate effects. The other one still works but it seems to be not as strong. Slower to heal my gut. So I’m sticking with this oil for my refills. It is a smaller bottle than a full sized one but it can last a while. I overdid it with the oil at first. It doesn’t always need more if the pack is well saturated.The pack itself is soft, comfortable and mostly easy to use. I like it. My only complaints are the buttons. They’re difficult to lock into place when you have to put the pack on a tricky area. I’ve also been using pack on my shoulder blade to help heal an injury. The pack/oil has been working but it’s a difficult to insert the buttons into the little wholes from that spot. Very awkward. I wish the buttons were replaced with clasps or even Velcro, anything else .Lastly, the neck piece is very awkward in terms of size. Doesn’t seem like it would be used in neck although I have tried it a few times (for my thyroid, I have hypothyroidism .) It’s so wide that it bends over and doesn’t quite stay in place. Regardless, I would use on many knees and other areas. Even my neck. Could be better though. It also does not come with an insert for the neck piece. That would be great if it did. I’ll have to purchase a separate cloth for that.Regardless, overall the pack has been a lifesaver for my numerous health issues. Quality of life has greatly improved.

The media could not be loaded. I am pleased with the quality and overall design of the pack and the separate cloth, however I'm not at all convinced this is organic cotton. I am a seamstress and fabric is "my thing". This feels and behaves much more like a synthetic fabric. I could be entirely wrong, but I was expecting something similar to a cloth diaper with that same gauzy, layered feel and this has a lot of stretch and has a lining of some sort this is plasticy, and not a natural fiber content fabric. As I said, I could be totally wrong and maybe this is some new fancy form of knit organic cotton, but to me, it seems to behave more like a synthetic fabric. I'm going to be visiting the fabric store and replacing this portion with true organic cotton, but will continue to utilize the wrap, but have the new cotton directly on my skin.I like the oil. It seems to be the real deal.

I ordered this since my FDNP recommended I start wearing a castor oil pack to help with inflammation and digestion. This one is very comfortable, does not shift in my sleep, no leakage, and includes the castor oil, a large pad and small one great for the neck. I appreciate that I did not have to make separate orders and it all came together in this one purchase. I use a heating pad on it which was recommended. I also find that when I take it off in the morning I am not still oily and it does not ruin my clothes. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend to anyone wanting to start their health journey.

Works well and is as described. I sleep with it every single night.

Great wrap to wear to bed. Castor oil is good for the insides and inflammation. Great stuff!
