Good solid phone
Worked well on a dorm hallway wall. Exactly what was needed for a public phone line.

Paying more might be a better option for a classic style wall phone
Inexpensive, quality not the best. Noisy squeaks and creaks from plastic parts.

Price
It was on sale. So price was fair

Where have the landline phones gone
Afger an unexpected equipment failure, a landline wall phone had to be replaced... In terms of the retail market, there was not a phone to be had.. Once again, Amazon came to the rescue in terms of product availability. while, in general, the product met the replacement requirement, it didn't have the same level of quality of products provided by Bell Telephone equipment - but, the replacement landline wall phone worked and ia acceptable as a replacement phone.

Terrible annoying clicking sound rather than a ring
The phone ringer has a very annoying sound very reminiscent of the sound you would hear in old movies of operators connecting to exchanges rather than a ring. It can be adjusted louder but it isn't a pleasant sound at all. The receiver has feedback. I would give it 2.5 stars.

Looks good in the kitchen. Fits perfectly in the space, pleasant ringtone, good voice tone. A good value.

Super easy to use
Needed an older style phone for a relative that’s has a stroke and had trouble learning anything new. This thing is straight out of the 1980’s/90’s and works great. He remembered exactly how to use this one.
