Golden Retriever puppy can easily jump/climb out
The seat is easy to fit into car and looks nice. I bought it for bringing a Golden Retriever puppy home (8 weeks old) and it was perfect size for him. However, we ended up sitting him on our laps for the first journey so he could bond and be reassured etc. We have since used it for a trip to the vets and he eagerly bounded straight out of it on the back seat, managing to step over and squash the sides without any problems. Luckily I was sitting next to him and able to put him back in and calm him. Once he had calmed and was just lying/sitting in it, it was perfect and did it's job, but as a secure holder for an adventurous/boisterous pup it isn't overly secure. The positive is the little attachment to secure to the pups collar, which meant even when he was clambering out of the sitting area, he was restrained and unable to roam too far around the car. For calm dogs, or with someone able to reassure next to them, it works ok, but not sure it would be overly beneficial above and beyond a normal dog seat-belt. Perhaps for smaller breeds it would also be more secure as would be harder to climb out of.Photos show the seat when Pup was more-or-less using it as intended...!

Not the sturdiest for a french bulldog puppy...
We bought this for short term use whilst we figured out how best to transport our French bulldog pup around safely, he was 12 weeks and weighed around 3.5kg...he fit into the seat ok but could easily climb out and overspill onto the back seats - the strap that we secured to his harness was too long to keep him restrained within the seat box proper. He chewed the plastic clip that attaches to the front of the seat box and snapped it during one short trip, but given he has needle sharp teeth and a strong jaw I wouldn't have expected it to last. We've just bought a seat cover which now covers all of the back seats so we'll probably get rid of this but it wasn't expensive...I would probably say this is more suitable for teacup/miniature dogs who are lighter and less robust than our Arnie who has been referenced as a tank from an early age!

Great, solid item
So far so good. Very good quality. Sides are mesh tho, not full as stated in the picture but I prefer that. Also, people saying the sides flop in.At the very bottom of mine was 2 thin poles, they go through the loops on either side and hold it in a firm position. If there weren’t any in yours, ask seller to send them in to you because they really do make a difference.Puppy however is undecided how his lordship feels about being in it! :)

Unsafe and poor quality
I echo Julie, our 14 week old French bulldog chewed the clip, jumps over the sides and the clip lead is too long. The back part is too short that it doesn’t reach the headrest. The poles in the side for support have caps that come off and are dangerous so I removed them as the dog can swallow this small part.

Ok but not brilliant
Bought for my Labrador puppy. The bars at the side kept coming out, I ended up removing them so she didn’t do any damage to herself with them. I knew that it wouldn’t be used for too long as Labrador’s grow quickly but thought it would make driving with her easier which it did for about a week. She was still small enough to have plenty of room in it but I’m giving it to a friend with a tiny dog now. Not really useful for us.

Not really usable
The actual product was well made with sturdy material and joints but sadly totally unusable as had no frame around the top of the seat so it just collapses as soon as the dogs sat in them- 2 very flimsy strips of wood were included to jam in to the front and back edge but these quickly broke as they were completely inappropriate for the job.Real shame as if this product had that frame around the top it would be a great product

folding dog booster seat, would have been perfect if my dog sat still for more than a minute
it's easy to put together although the side poles are rather flimsy , it's a really good product if you dog sits still, mine just tries to escape from it every 5 minutes, very easy to attach to the car as the straps just go around the head rest and are adjustable to fit, it's a perfect size for small dogs, quite deep, I would suggest adding a blanket or cushion in the bottom to make it comfier for your dog, if it had stiffer sides and front I would have given it more stars, but if your dog is a good traveller and just sits or curls up it would be perfect for the money

Brilliant value for money
I got this seat for my two Chihuahuas and was very pleasantly surprised. It was due for delivery on 13/01/2020 and arrived on 11/01/2020 and I was very pleased with the product, especially considering the price I paid and there is plenty of room for both dogs. I highly recommend this item, brilliant 😁
