Cartoons from The New Yorker 2024 Day-to-Day Calendar

This 365-LOL-cartoon-a-day calendar from "The New Yorker" has a prominent place on my desk every year and every day. The daily chuckle is often hilarious and I'll often share the cartoon with my grandkids. They also laugh (sometimes!). It's the bargain of the year (based on the price divided by 366 days)...and no calories! I cheated and skipped ahead to April 3 to find my favorite cartoon so far:A businessman, with his 1700s-era briefcase, is meeting with Ben Franklin. A kite with a long tail is on Franklin’s table. The caption:"We’ve heard about your little experiment, Mr. Franklin, and what we in the kite industry would like to know is how much is it gonna cost for this to go away.”The cartoon for June 24 is also laugh-out-loud. A banner reads, “Welcome to Heaven," and a man and a woman are greeted by an angel. The caption:"There’ll be a little wait—would you like to have a drink at the bar?”Enjoy!

I have calendars on my phone and computer, but it's still nice to have a calendar to quickly look at the date. This one provides a great cartoon every day.

I order these every year and give to my friends. Very funny!

This is an annual gift for my husband for Christmas. We both enjoy it a great deal.

I’ve been getting this for years. I’m a big fan of these cartoons. Sometimes I pin one on my bulletin board or give to somebody else. A little treasure each day awaits me.

I get one of these calendars every year. Most of the cartoons are hilarious. A laugh a day is good medicine!

I love New Yorker cartoons, as does an old friend. I give her one of these every year--she is a Roman Catholic Sister with a great sense of humor and she looks forward to these calendars every year.

I put one if these in my Beloved Old Thing's stocking each Christmas, and highly recommend it as a practice for your beloveds too. These daily cartoons have transported us through some pretty dicey years: pandemics, elections, teenagers, and worse. A cheap and easy way to improve the quality of life in one's home, all told.

The selection of daily cartoons is well curated and well help me take 2024 in good humour. The size and format is convenient.
