Quality Constructed
The MSR Voyager Jacket is very well made and fits as expected. I'm 5'11 and 185 lbs and a large fit great. The old adage "you get what you pay for" and I feel you get a lot of bang for your buck with this MSR jacket, especially when compared to other more expensive ones.

Seems good so far! Just a bit stiff
Feels like high quality, fits well. I really like that the whole thing is waterproof and they don't bother with all the crappy zip in liners (I assume that's part of how they keep the price down). I just threw on a long sleeve sweatshirt and rode to work this morning in 35 degrees and it was fine. The only thing that I don't like is how stiff the whole thing feels. I took the armor that came with it out (it was insanely stiff) and put some D3O inserts I had in it. I'm hoping as I use it more it'll break in and loosen up a bit, it crinkles and makes a lot of noise walking around, but while riding it's great. I does feel a little tight in the elbows when reaching up to adjust my visor and whatnot. Also, we'll see how it does once the weather starts to warm up in the spring...

Good value
As described and good fit, overall a great value. I will be using them this weekend if there are any issues I will update my rating.

Not flexible.
The jacket body fit perfect but the collar is super small. All the zippers are extremely hard to operate. The material is basically plastic and none flexible and noisy.

Great Quality
This is a very well made jacket. RevZilla compares it to a KLIM for a lot less money. I normally wear an XL, but for this jacket I had to return the XL and buy a XXL. I am 5'11", 215 lbs, long arms. I wanted a jacket that I could layer and the XL fit like a glove (sleeves a bit short) and it was very hard to get it on with the armour in place and no room for a vest or other layering. The XXL is a bit big around my torso, but it will work out fine for me especially when I need to include my electric vest.

Completely waterproof in light rain, not so much in heavier downpours.
Overall design is feature rich: collar cinche cord, pockets at forearms (pro tip: put credit card in lil pocket and use tap to pay instead of having to pull out your wallet, take gloves off etc.), good size pockets, and windproof. Thick, heavy, and substantial textile (like Carthart) keeps me warm at 48-50F with thermal and t-shirt underneath. Waterproofness: Unfortunately, it is NOT. I rode on back to back rainy days purposely to test out the waterproofness. Day 1 (.25” of rain over 24hrs/51•F) - MSR jacket did beautifully! A few light showers and 2 small 5 minute heavy dumps during 5 hr ride. Jacket never seeped ANY rain. Dried off as I rode. Day 2 (.55” of rain over 24hrs/46•F) - MSR jacket did not hold up. Both MSR jacket AND PANTS, seeped through after 2hrs of light consistent rain. It seeps through at chest, forearms, and belly. The back was dry. With that said, it still kept me “dry enough” and “warm” enough to continue riding for another 3 hrs. Overall I think the value of this jacket is decent: will keep you dry in a sudden downpour, love the forearm pocket for tap to pay, style is handsome, fabric softens up significantly and feels custom fitted after only 3 washes and about 20hrs in various weather conditions. The zippers def hold up and I did not see any water seepage that would lead me to believe the zippers were the culprit. I bought this MSR jacket/pants outfit in hopes that I would not have to carry around an additional rain suit. Unfortunately that is not the case BUT, with the addition of my Nelson Rigg rain suit, I can ride in the rain for 5 hrs and only the outside of my MSR suit gets a little wet. Inside I am completely DRY AND WARM!!!

Nice Jacket
I’m pleased with this jacket. Warm and dry on Pacific Northwest winter rides even in rain and on the interstate. Fits a bit tight but that’s on me for not noticing how much all that delicious food over the holidays I actually ate. Should fit perfect once I shed that 😂
