Works 4 me
I like this headset and would recommend it. Sound quality is more than acceptable to me. I mostly use it for podcasts, conferencing and audio books. It's great for that - I barely use it for music, sounded ok to me the 2 times I did. I was looking for a headset that is helmet compatible and that I don't have to take off when talking to somebody, like earbuds. I looked at bone conduction but then saw this one which seems mechanically similar. It was on sale for $20 and I went for it. It solves the biggest problems I was facing except for the wind noise issue. If you go faster than 12 mph, the wind noise starts getting loud enough to cancel out what comes from the phones... that is true for earphones as well, even the in-ear type. Btw, even for bone conducting, maybe bone-conducting plus earplugs? But then you have the earplugs to deal with. Skullcap over ears works - that takes most the wind noise off, also with these, but then you have to wear the cap... in winter no problem... in summer, well - so there's no helmet compatible solution I found to deal with that problem. 3 things that could use improvement maybe: 1) the buttons seem to do on/off, volume up/down. I wish there was a button for play/pause... if there is that functionality, I have not found it. It would be great if there was as it would be nice to pause and start without getting the phone out. 2) The magnetic charging: first, it works well and it comes with 2 charging cables (a spare one!) - and that is awesome! However, it is still proprietary. It would be nice if I could just charge it with a usb-C cable, the current gold standard of charging. With this mag port, I still have to have this proprietary cable on me to cahrge them, one more thing to have on me... if I had a choice I would take the usb-c option even though it is not as slick as the mag-charging port. 3) I can't tell whether they are on or off by looking at them. There is no light that says they are on. That is probably great for battery efficiency, but it becomes an endeavor if you need to know if they are on or off, one basically has to put them on, press the power button and wait for the voice to say powering-on or powering-off. I gave them 5 stars - that's a round up from maybe 4.3 because other than the 3 things I mentioned they work well for me and they where only $20.-. I find I got my moneys worth even though they are not absolutely perfect 4 me. Manufacturing quality seems good as well and as I said, proprietary charging I find sub-optimal even when slick - BUT at least it works well and they included a second cable!! Amendment: In the mean time I found out that one can tell whether they are on - if one presses the power button and they are on - there is a little beep. There's also a little blinking light - hard to see in daylight and you have to hold them right to see it. Very low power probably to preserve battery. After getting used to them more they work even better for me. For my purpose, podcasts and audiobooks with bicycle helmet or hat, not isolating me too much from the environment, pretty close to perfect

Good bang for your buck - comparison with G9
I am starting to fall in love with the entire headset family of this company. Our two sons use the G3 headset in combination with both their tablets and their school computers. Works flawlessly and they have easily survived the backpack abuse so far. Our oldest son uses the G9 for gaming, which is similar to this G2 model, though the microphone boom can be disconnected. Seeing how well that model works for him, I decided to purchase the G2 for myself. I am using this headset just for the many Zoom calls I have to attend, so I do not need the removable microphone boom. So far, the headset has worked very well. Just as the other models, it connects flawlessly to bluetooth and according to other people who attend the Zoom calls, sound quality is perfect. I particularly like the fact this headset sits on your ears, instead of in your ear like with earbuds or over-your-ears like the big headsets. Those models always give me the impression I hear myself speak too profoundly. There are a few noticeable differences with the G9, which could have you prefer the one over the other. First off, there is the removable boom on the G9, which you do not have on the G2. The G2 also sits loser on your head than the G9. I personally like the G9's fit better, but this is personal preference and by no means a deal-breaker. On the other hand, the control buttons on the G2 are larger than on the G9 and G3, which are easier to manage for adults. All in all a very good headset. As they say in Spanish - bueno, bonito y barato.

Decent headset at a good price
These are pretty comfortable, they still pinch my ears a bit where my glasses are but nowhere nearly as bad as other headsets, it's more just annoying then anything. Granted I do wear these for about 10 hours a day. It took a bit of messing around with settings to get them to work correctly on my computer. I can not use the stereo version while using the mic, but even still the sound quality is pretty decent. the mic does a pretty good job on removing background noises, I usually have at least 1 fan running constantly and as it's summer my ac unit kicks on often and the mic doesn't pick these noises up unlike other mics i have used. there are really only 2 downsides for me on these headsets. 1) the mute function does not work on computers, so I can not walk away while on a call and mute the mic. I have to use the computers mute function. 2) it does not have passthru charging, so I can not use these while they are charging neither of these "issues" are really a deal breaker...I can mute the mic from the computer and the battery does last...if it is fully charged it does last a good 10 hours of nonstop or if they've sat for a few days without use or charging they will last a good 5+ hours of nonstop use. Also the range is pretty good, I have been able to roam around my apartment and not lose functionality. I've been recommending these to all of my fellow streamers/broadcasters they work well, sound is decent, fairly comfortable, and last for several hours before needing charged.

Does what it says on the tin.

Pathetic. Don't buy. Doesn't work in dual connection. Noise cancellation is absolutely zero.. Priced 10 times more and performance is like road side plastic toy.

Bluetooth at this price range usually suffer in quality. These do not. I managed to listen to clear symphonic metal, with no issues. No static, no blur, it was a clear sound, a style most headset fail at. Proceeding, I tested various other music styles, and honestly? They beat some of my higher quality headset I own. AND they are wireless. Battery life is good so far. Connecting them was easy and smooth, and the range is good enough to do chores around the house. I did go outside for a walk, and used them during some solo karate practice; they did not come off. They stayed put very nicely. But the best thing? They do not go inside your ear, so they do not damage the inside of your ear, or keep moisture for possible infections. Or just, ear ache. I would get them constantly with regular headset and this is why i bought these to try air conductor. They sound amazing, and no one hears a thing! I prefer these headset to speakers when I am home for the sound quality and comfort. Literally, it sounds like i have these really good speakers, when it's just me. You can still hear around you, so it's very nice in the street, but the quality is also nice to just skip away in your own dream world. The band also is more snug compared to others i have tried, and i do enjoy that small detail. While smaller, it has less pressure on the head than other headset i've tried, yet as stated they do not fly off. So they dont "squeeze" your head at all. I didn't think they would stay put so much but yeah. Definitely impressed. In short, they are very very comfortable, with an impressive sound quality, add they are wireless waterproof headset. I recommend many times over, as gifts or personal. They also stopped my ear ache i get from regular headphones, so I can't recommend them enough if you have ear problems and you want to try this out. For 30$? It's a steal.
