Sweet and Simple
I highly recommend this Stevia powder.Don't be put off by the fact that you use so much less than sugar, or by the teeniest difference in taste. It is minor. In fact, the Erythritol (2%) that is added makes all the difference, almost obscuring the slight after-tang. I looked it up and found that, like the Stevia itself, Erythritol is purported to have no effect on glucose levels, making it ideal for Candida sufferers and people who are watching their GI, as well as weight-watchers.In my experience, it doesn't spike your energy in the same way as sugar, or make you jittery. There is no laxative effect that I can tell, as with some other 'alternative' sweeteners, nor does it make you crave more.. It just makes things sweeter.I bought this as a replacement for a small pack of 100% Stevia from Trader Joe's in the US as, sadly, they don't sell mail order or ship abroad. It turned out to be a lucky purchase: this is a very economical size at a reasonable price and although it's not organic, it tastes pretty good. I put it on cereals, in hot drinks and smoothies and wherever I need sweetness. This size pot should last quite a while.I even influenced a three-spoons-a-cup tea drinker to change to it... And that's quite a lot of sugar a day!

Super sweet and great for baking
When you first receive the container, you could be forgiven for thinking - "oh dear - so much £ for so little?"My advice is take a step back and RELAX - it's fine. You need so little product, that this size container does actually last.Taste & Texture:The best thing I can equate it to is very sweet icing sugar. I personally find the aftertaste minimal, perhaps more so in hot drinks. However, I quickly got used to it - and now find actual sugar 'too sweet' / "sacharriney".I've also made some pancakes and biscuits which have been wonderful - and great on the waistline!I hope those who try it, like it as much as I do. Delivery was very prompt and arrived prior to the "expected delivery date."

Delicious!
I'm thrilled with this, my first trial of stevia. On a refined-sugar free diet but wanting sweet treats, I thought I'd finally give stevia a go, despite having heard rumours about its bitter after-taste. My hubby and I concur that it tastes of icing sugar with a very slight after-taste of licorice. For a licorice fiend like me, this is just delicious! So far, I've used it mixed in with cream cheese and ground star anise to make a sweet and yummy cake frosting and I've stirred a little in with summer berries and apple to make sweet fruit tarts. There was no licorice-y after taste in the tarts. My daughter, however, licked a little stevia on her finger and thought it was disgusting. Bear in mind, she is a junk food loving teenager. Her evaluation may therefore be unreliable! The mixed response to stevia leaves me wondering if some people's taste buds are more susceptible to recognising bitter after-tastes than others. Personally, I say go for it!

100% Stvia (not like some products..)
Thought I would try the 100% product; having been happy with the Branded Truvia (1% Stevia!)- so if you are ok with it's slightly unique (but fine for me!) taste, all you need is a tiny spoon- 10x sweetness of sugar! Quite pricey -but should be cheaper in the long run as you need so little!

Next best thing to cane sugar
Next best thing to sugar. This is my second time buying. I use it for baking as well, plus you don't need a lot so goes a long way.

excellent product
Our family has been devotees of the Stevia plant for several years and always aim to seek out juices with Stevia rather than can sugar, I can recommend this product highlyx

Good
This was good, but I now buy the organic green powder straight from the leaf as it is a little less strong and bitter and goes well with everything.
