I am a complete newbie to Yerba and pretty much ordered the cheapest because I didn't want to spend a lot for something I might not be able to tolerate the taste of. After recieving this and trying it, I thought I would never be able to keep drinking it. I had to do some research and learn about this stuff to figure out if this is good quality because oh my God, it's hard to drink, in every way 😅 The product is VERY dusty and was all coming through the bombilla, but I discovered that was mostly user error on my part because I was not preparing it properly and stirring it which unsettles all the dust e.t.c. I also reduced the amount and started with 1 flat tea spoon because filling 2/3 of the cup sent actual shivers through my body because the taste was so awful. However, I undeniably have such mental clarity and energy all day when I drink and am noticeably more tired when I don't. No jitters like with coffee...I'm actually pretty amazed at the effects. After 1 week I am now at 3 heaped tea spoons, the taste is slowly getting easier to tolerate and I'm getting better at preparing it properly so less dust comes through the bombilla. If you are like me and are thinking of drinking yerba for all it's health benefits - I can say it is looking very promising. I hope I will continue to get used to the taste and can gradually increase the strength. * adding a tea spoon of honey helps to start with for the bitterness.
