Second time ordering this product and it still comes in completely DIFFERENT packaging!.. Not an issue, in-fact I think I like the smaller, smoother and soft-white subtly-translucent, re-sealable bag. One thing that really stands-out about this product, is that it seriously smells EXACTLY like a 'Bounty' (coconut-chocolate bar), it is really uncanny how perfectly identical the smell is!.. It's a sweet, rich, deep aroma that has a nostalgic beauty about it - only really comparable TO 'Bounty'! I actually ONLY purchase this each month to use in my 2-day smoothie batches; it's absolutely brilliant and is FAR superior to the coconut 'smiles'/slices, or chunks - this is much easier to digest because it is such a 'finely-shredded' variant that is also incredibly soft and extremely tiny. It usually becomes even smaller, overall, after blending into the smoothie mixture; evenly-spread/dispersed fragments lead to an exquisite result - only up to 3 tablespoons (Max.) is needed per 1,000ml smoothie batch, depending on your personal preference, sometimes I occasionally like to have a heavier presence of the coconut, so increase the total content as desired. Simple yet makes a legitimate & noticeable improvement to your preferred method of usage - whether it be in baking, cooking, sweet/savoury dishes, smoothies, yoghurts, ice cream, drinks/special beverages, desserts or whatever your reason, this IS a great-quality product, with decent, easy to use coconut that needs NO prepping prior to use and provides ample health benefits and/or flavour enhancing properties for ANY/EVERY form... just an amazing, super-versatile product. Organic + GMO-free, can't really go wrong with that(?). Well worth the purchase! A 250g bag lasts me 3-5 weeks depending on aforementioned factors, but generally a month, as long as I ration it properly, instead of overusing it like I was doing with my previous ones (just 10-15 days before it was all gone!). I like the soft white, matte-textured bag that has a good quality seal which has not torn on me yet (not like a lot of other premium products' re-sealable bags do spontaneously!)… I can certainly imagine that the majority of people whom purchase this particular variant of coconut are intending to use it in baking (sponge cakes, cup cakes, desserts, etc..), and I can totally understand that - it IS perfect for that, but you/they should also consider using it in savoury dishes, like curries, fish, meat + sauces, etc.., it's also great used in the process of preparing steamed rice and as a garnish, and as I stated, smoothies... they are significantly improved by the addition of these coconut flakes before blending! Fresh, soft, healthy, beautiful texture & pleasant flavour - inviting & intoxicating aroma - what more could you really want from a simple coconut product that is processed in such a genuinely outstanding way, to produce an absolutely PERFECT result that is the legendary 'Desiccated Coconut' variant?!.
