6/26/26 UPATE Sonic game Works as described. Failure on adults in the household
Will not work in my system. It says it will work in Xbox One but it doesn't. I cannot return it because my grandson lost the Instructions. I guess I will have to sell it or give it away. So he my grandson 5yrs old can choose a different game to play. I did not call to see about the refund because of the lost Instructions. I am giving only 1 star because a 5yr old had his heart broke. UPDATE: I gave this a 5star as I believe that if I had all the info to exchange then I would not have a problem well you learn by error. We did manage to get the game to work in the xbox but it is spotty One day it works and then the next forget it. I do think there is an issue with the disk but due to my grandson losing the manual I cannot return it or at least I am assuming as I do not return things that is not all there. When the game did work it played just fine. updat 6/28/26 I need to make something clear, I said that the game would not work in my system but It DOES WORK. It was errors on the adults in the house. Once we knew how my son did and ever since then the game works just as the game said it work.

Good game
The sonic obsessed kid says the game play was good. Although apparently there was very little direction for some of the boss battles.

For all those concerned about lag on Xbox Series X
I am about four acts in on the Xbox Series X. I wanted to get this one so I can play on the Series X for 4K and the older Xbox One to play with my son. While I can't directly compare to other versions, I haven't noticed the lag at all. Feels pretty responsive to me. It did get a large patch and searching around on Reddit - it seems that other people have noticed the game is a lot better than its original state after the patch. Totally playable on Xbox and lots of fun! Really enjoying the game so far :)
