Very nice shelf unit, quite easy to assemble and we keep a lot of stuff in it. Looks quite durable for its wooden planks.

Arrived very quickly. Finish quality of the unit not what I was expecting especially around fixing areas but as it was for garage and I was vastly amending it to fit that wasn't too much of a problem. A little over priced for what was received and it was annoying that the shelves were pre-made for my purposes.

Great for what my wife and i want,easy assembly and prompt dispatch.Although the choice of courier could be better the problems i recieved were dealt with.Will deff buy from this company/firm again.

Whilst the wood is of a good quality, only the uprights are pre-drilled, and not the end of the shelves ? Strange considering they can only fit in one place, so screwing all those screws in when you only have a standard screwdriver is quite hard. Also the shelf ends did not quite fit correctly in the precut grooves.Overall far to expensive for what you get

Very disappointed with this shelving unit. From the beginning there were problems; a cracked corner from transit, splinters and rough bits that needed sanding, readily cut slots in the long pieces were cut in different heights and were also too narrow for most of the shelve ends to fit in. This resulted in a wobbly unit and you can see the screws in between the long planks and the shelves...no good. One shelf was wider than the rest and when assembled, the whole thing was wonky. I took it apart and turned the long planks upside down in hope to find balance but discovered that the screw holes had been put in different heights as well! That would have made the unit even more wonky, so I remedied it by lowering the said shelf and screwing through the wood without the ready holes. The long posts did not fit in front or back as in the assembly picture, this was due to the too small slots. I had to place them at the ends which does not look good but makes the unit look less wonky. It still is not straight as the long corner planks are warped. No matter how you place or turn them, the result is always leaning to one direction or other. The job that should have taken a half an hour max took hours, as I had to take apart and reassemble over and over again in vain hope to get the damned thing look straight from all angles. Straight it is not but leans and is therefore unsteady and stands now behind a curtain in an alcove to house blankets and such, out of sight. It will never make it into anyone's room, too unsteady and annoyingly uneven. I fastened it into a wall to keep it propped up without leaning, as tightening the screws does not do too much since the shelves are on top of the wood and not in the too small slots. This has been a nightmare experience and I find that this thing is not worth the money I spent on it. So called German 'quality' which I believed would have been properly made and in working order. I have had a lot cheaper units than this before and never had trouble assembling them and they all turned out really solid and straight.It is too large and awkward item to return so I keep it until I find a better one and this one can go and live in the shed or get chopped for fire lighters. It really is not worth much, certainly not what I foolishly paid for it. Refund discussion in process.
