P.R.I Manuka Honey, MGO 150+ New Zealand Raw Monofloral Manuka Honey, 500g

This is the best honey - absolutely worth the extra cost in our opinion -- especially considering it has be collected, strained, packaged and shipped from NZ. NZ has amazing plants and a healthy environment and this is captured in this product. We don't use processed sugar and this product is not too sweet. It tastes natural. A few family members use it in tea and love how it dissolves and enhances the flavor. It's great with oatmeal or in a smoothie! This product deserves its 5-star rating. Update: This is the 3rd time we've ordered this product from PRI. We trust the quality. It seems to have been shipped and stored well protected, and it arrived fresh with a long expiry date. Very much appreciate the price as well.

Make sure your not ripped off, but I have been using this Manuka Honey since 2008. I used to have really bad acid reflux. After hearing a story about this honey on the local news (chef had really bad heart burn/acid) how this Chef too 1/2 teaspoon 3 times a day before meals (meals should not be spicy) for 6 months, he was healed. So I bought it (its a bit pricey) and did the same thing for 3 months, and my acid reflux was gone. Also, this honey helps with infections inside and out and I use it in my tea and or making a smootie drink. If you find the true Manuka Honey, I would recommend it highly. If you have diabetes, you should speak with your doctor first. After all, its HONEY, and its very sweet!

The consistency and the value for the quality of taste is a bargain for me.

Tried to order 100 not 60, thought this was fine

Fantastic addition to the home medical arsenal. This company's supplier is on the approved NZ honey list- so it is the real deal. It's more competitively priced too. I use it mostly in a medi-honey capacity. It is an amazing topical antibiotic which will work against surface MRSA skin infections along with everyday(and more serious) lacerations, punctures, minor infections and burns providing perfect protective conditions for skin regeneration. I put it on everything. It can also be taken internally for other positive properties, it is honey after all(though a little weird tasting, sure)! It lasts forever if used as a topical as it only takes a little to get the job done. I always have at least two jars(one 10+ and one 15+) in rotation; this makes things very economical. It's arguably the most important component of home medical supplies because it wears so many hats. Great stuff.

Ok, so the only complaint is that the product picture is not what I recieved. I posted a picture for comparation. The picture on the left is what I order. Everything on the label is the same except it is white like the picture on the right. I'm pretty sure is just that they chage the packaging label and didn't update the picture. If that's not the case, I got something else. Besides that the honey is ok. Someone told me is really good for season allergies. I used it for 2 days and it's helping.

I have ordered several jars of this honey over the last year. My experiance is that each jar has been consistantly the same each time. I am an ex-pat kiwi living in the USA. I have been looking for an affordable "genuine" manuka honey since I lived here I did read the other reviews and felt I should comment. To my taste this is genuine Manuka Honey. The honey that I would buy from the beekeepers or at the farmers market is thick and dark like this. The honey that I have bought online from a Maunka Honey seller in the USA has been good, but is a different paler color and has a stronger sharper taste, I was buying that until I found this available as a subscribe and save item, which has lowered the cost for me and made it a worthwhile purchase. Nothing against Comvita at all as I grew up just down the road from where they do business, but this seems more like manuka from less populated areas of the country. A great everyday honey.

It is a little pricey, especially for a product that is questionable about health benefits. I like it for the taste.
