Ok, so it was shipped quickly, it is well made, and it does what it’s supposed to do, it kept the shower head of my espresso machine clean during the brew. I was hoping it would get me more crema per brew, one would think it would, but sadly, no dice. I cannot fault the seller on this, as coffee is so subjective and we all have different espresso machines. For this reason, I am not asking for a refund. This screen did what it was supposed to do, but for me, it’s a crema killer. I tried it on top of the puck, and on the bottom, no crema at all. Not even the little amount I was getting before. Flat. But the shower head was clean of coffee grounds when I used it on top of the coffee as instructed. So I wanted to offer a little tip to those looking for more crema and not getting it from their machines. I’ve found that if you put a little espresso in your filter basket, tamp it down, put a little more, tamp it down, and so on until the filter basket is full of coffee. So you have layers of coffee all tamped down in the filter basket, then brew. You’ll get a little more crema this way. As for this screen, I think it comes down to preference. It does what it says it will do, but I just don’t care for how the coffee comes out. I can’t blame the seller for this, so I just chalk it up to preference here. I just didn’t like the result. My fault for buying something that didn’t work out, and I hope someday I can find a use for it because it really is a good, fine, heavy duty screen. For now, I’ll be more careful buying coffee stuff, and in the junk drawer it goes.

I use it in my DeLonghi manual Espresso machine. It is a little thicker than I expected but still fits nicely and is easy to use. It keeps the water shower head of the espresso machine clean and seems to disperse the water over the grounds better than without it. It's a very inexpensive solution to keep grounds from sticking to the shower head of the espresso maker.

I wish I had purchased these when I first began pulling espresso at home. Now I would not be without them. The worst part of preparing espresso is wiping the gunk off the shower after removing the portafilter. That entire messy chore is now gone. Putting a screen on top leaves the shower clean and shiny every time - I may never have to wipe it down again. I've detected no change in the quality of the espresso or the machine's performance. Maybe there is slightly more froth, if anything. Anyone with an espresso machine needs to get screens, and these are at a bargain price.

This isn’t a super premium espresso tool, but it will absolutely get the job done. It’s thick and durable, which means you might need to dose less coffee into your portafilter. The mesh is somewhat difficult to clean, but I find placing it on the drain tray and using the steaming wand cleans it very well. I don’t feel like it makes a noticeable difference in espresso taste, but it definitely helps keep the machine cleaner and makes it easier to know the used grounds out of the basket!

Really like this puck. It allows me to stamp our espresso maker cup properly. It gives a really even diffusion of the steam over the grounds. It results in a more even and complete extraction from the coffee grounds, I think. I have definitely noticed and more even top after brewing.

This is a must have for your espresso machine it keeps your spray head very clean keeps the coffee from sticking to it and not only that it makes the water drain evenly on the coffee puck to get the best extraction it manes your machine have more longevity so you can enjoy your espresso machine longer.

Fits my Breville Bambino plus portafilters perfectly. I highly recommend using a screen puck for no other reason than it keeps your machine super clean. My group end is spotless, requires no cleaning at all. This should also make the machine last longer. Also pucks are much drier using this screen.

I have been using a Wacaco Picopresso for some days. Even with the utmost care and attention to the grind size, distribution and tamping, channeling can happen quite often. This puck screen helps even out the water distribution and helps prevent channels resulting in a better brew, thicker Crema and body.
