helped fix my extremely severe DSPD. I can finally get sleepy at night and be awake during the day
So my body's schedule is perfectly fine when I am backpacking and outside 24 hours a day in beautiful summer weather. However, if it's an overcast day, my delay is 2-3 hours, for a 26-27 hour cycle. If I'm sleeping in a room without a real direct-light window, my delay is 5 hours, for a 29 hour cycle. I have had narcolepsy and a severely delayed circadian rhythm my entire life if my light exposure is not completely synced to the equivalent of full outdoor sun. People without this problem will make suggestions like "just go for a 15 minute walk outside every morning". No, I literally need continuous full outdoor sun THE ENTIRE DAY in order to not fall asleep midday. As you can imagine, this is very bad for work.I thought my night light exposure was fine because I have already switched over all my bedroom lights to dim orange/amber lights and have blue filters on my computer and phone, but it turns out that these red goggles do even better. They filter ambient street light, fridge lights, not-so-orange common space lights, and other random lights I might accidentally see walking around the house in the evening that I don't think about. These red goggles solved half of my problem. When I start wearing them 2+ hours before my target bedtime, I actually feel sleepy by my target bedtime, even if it's before midnight. Game changer and much better filtering and wraparound than standard blue-blocker glasses for only $10! Pure blue lights are completely invisible through these glasses, it looks like nothing is on.For the other half of the problem -- simulating full sunlight on days when it's either overcast, or I need to work indoors -- I read OptimizeYourBiology sun lamp reviews and ended up buying the Luminette 3 (~$200) and Alaska Northern Lights Mini Pad (~$200). I balked at the prices at first, but they have proven to be a very good deal considering they are giving me back several hours a day every day that I would usually spend struggling with my severe sleep disorder. I can finally cosplay as a normal person, at least where being awake is concerned. FYI, you'll get much better customer service if you buy directly through their websites rather than through Amazon.

Great quality.
Finally found the right goggles with the true red inferred color. Perfect for eye protection. I’ve searched for years trying to find this quality. So glad I found these.

Great for keeping night vision
Bought these to try out when stargazing at a dark sky site after hearing about them from another astronomy club (LAAS) member. The dark sky site has Starlink and wifi calling so now if my wife calls me while observing I put these goggles on and there is no bright white light to be seen. They make everything red and keep my night vision protected. Fantastic

Seeing red
The safety glasses fit well over my glasses. They are a deep red in color. I have different colored lasers. I can barely see the dot of my green, blue, cyan and purple (UV) lasers unless they hit a fluorescent surface. Red is still bright red, while my orange laser is still orange (interesting). The safety factor may be good (important), but barely seeing the colors and the beams (green & cyan) takes some of the fun out of lasers. Still better to be safe.

Perfect second pair or backup pair for blocking blue artificial light sources in the evening.
I got these to compare with the $60 version made by Safety Blue and they hold up as a direct replacement so I have both. Minimizing night time after hours blue light from indoor lighting and devices and TV screens consistently over time reduces a great deal of stress on the eyes and brain after decades of no precautions, these are perfect for fitting over ordinary corrective lens frames. Huge value compared to the alternative, comfortable to wear for long hours.

Works well, but cheaper elsewhere
Works well for blocking all blue/green light, but you can buy the same thing on AliExpress for like $2 instead of $10.

Bought for driving at night
I bought these for driving at night because I have a little short sports car that’s so low to the ground that these newfangled bright lights that they have on cars besides looking like tiny nuclear blast seem to want to reach in and rip your retina out of your head and lobotomize you at the same time especially if it’s raining forget it I can’t even see the road! Anyhow, all that poetry aside, L O L they’re fabulous.
