Works just as described. Easy to use

Excellent thermometer giving a digital read out as well as displaying max and min temperatures, which can be cleared by pressing the central red button. Has a top flap to shade it, and a hole for a screw or hook to secure it. Best read in shade. Comes with a battery. Strongly recommended if you want to keep an eye on any heatwave.

A little disappointed that even though it’s advertised as waterproof, packaging says it’s not. So I used a plastic tray from food packaging (portobello mushrooms), cut the short side off to make a shelter. See picture. Works a treat. My thermometer is outside and sheltered from the wind and rain.

Perfect operation out of the box sums it up. Clarity, accuracy and ease of use. what more could the discerning greenhouse owner wish for?

It's a pity this item is not waterproof.

Worked ok for four days then stopped working and screen blackened up and the actual gauges went all lines the full length of the guage . Changed battery but the item is knackered. Not what you want on a not even a week old item
