Honestly a fantastic invention - I have 6 bags. They are great for buying those family pack items and storing the extras in the freezer. Sealing is a cinch, just make sure you know what you're doing and when you're pulling too hard - some reviewers have rated this product poorly because they ripped off the handle while trying to open it. What I've found best to use a "tug-tug-slide" technique to get it going a little, then it will gradually just slide off.Haven't tried it for marinades or anything yet, but will certainly attempt to when the time arises! Move over, ziplock!

These are a nice reusable alternative to plastic freezer bags. The silicone is thick and the plastic slider seals the bag effectively. I have used these to freeze soup and pizza dough. No leaks or freezer burn.

One of the closures arrived broken (see picture). It's useless without a closure. I used the other one. I used it for marinating and it worked well. Hard to clean - the marinade does not wash out of the creases in the bottom of the bag. After the 3rd time using it, I put it in the dishwasher, and when I took it out, it was not clean. I started to hand wash it, and found that it has a hole in it. So now that one is useless. On the plus side, I can use the closure from that bag on the other bag. So, if you don't mind ending up with one bag out of 2, it's ok. surprisingly am not really using these much. Shouldn't be surprised, as I'm not that big a plastic bag user, and wash and reuse the ones I have. Found the stiffness making them difficult with some things, easier with others. sliding the sealing strip on and off is tough. Doubt that it will become easier. Only bought the two as trial, and they are absolutely NOT my go to for anything.

Love this concept since we use lots of ziplock bags at our house. It took me a little to get used to the closure but was very easy once I did it a few times. I have not yet tried these bags for liquids but they worked great for everything else I've used them for. They are holding up well so far and seem to be of good quality. I love that I can throw them in the dishwasher and that I can use them over and over and create less waste.
