Replaced a very similar headband (looks identical) by a different "brand" (Perytong) that I've had and used daily for about a year and a half. The new one is by "Lullaband" which just sounds cooler for a sleep headband. Trying on the new one on, it does fit a bit tighter than the old one, but the material also feels a bit softer and stretchier. I have a big head and it's very comfortable to wear. The electronics look and feel identical to my old band. Came USB-C charging port and it comes with a standard USB-A to USB-C charging cable (no wall wart). The band is even sewn the same way, with the speakers in a little pocket where you can slide them back and forth to get them aligned with your ears just right. Turning it on, it came up with the same "BT-DLAB" name on Bluetooth as my old band. It sounds just as good as my old band (certainly not audiophile quality sound, but not bad at all for how it's used). I strongly suspect that the electronics are the exact same or very similar. My old band worked great under daily use, and I frequently got several nights of use per charge, depending on whether and for how long I set my sleep timer. A good estimate would be 10-12 hours of use per charge at low volume. I assume the new band will have similar performance; I'll update my review if it ends up being different. One thing to watch: after about a year the wires in my old band started getting stiff & brittle. Eventually, one of the speakers started having an intermittent connection. If this new band lasts about as long, it's well worth the low price (especially if you get it on sale) and I won't mind replacing it again as needed.

Although the picture I took makes the product look magenta / hot pink, it’s actually more of a medium purple / mauve color. The instructions were pretty easy to understand. I typically never read the boxed instructions, but I had to this time as some of the buttons are multi-functional. The play/pause button is used to both play and pause audio and also to turn the headset on or off. To turn on, you hold the play/pause button for 3-seconds and to pause or resume audio, you push the same button once. Overall, I thought the headset was comfortable. I like that I can comfortably fall asleep listening to a podcast or music and if needed, I can share with others since these are more sanitary than the in-ear buds. It is nice that it’s one size fits all and doesn’t need to be adjusted. I have a smaller head, so I was worried it would be too big. It actually fit perfectly. It’s a little stretchy, so it automatically adjusts person to person. Also super convenient that the product came pre-charged. Once it died, I was able to fully recharge in 2-hours! Only cons are that it does smell upon arrival and that each time you open a new window or app on your phone, the music pauses for a brief second. Luckily, the smell went away naturally in 2-days. Also the headband is hand wash safe (just remember to remove the Bluetooth device).

Product works great, good sound quality. Not outside noise cancelling, but then again, I set my volume low so I can comfortably drift off to sleep. I will say, the headband is really big and like t-shirt material & there's no way to adjust it smaller, so if you don't have a big head, that thing is going to slide all over the place if you move a lot when sleeping. that's really my only complaint how large it is. The price is decent, I got it on sale, not full price so I can't complain. One really important piece of advice is do NOT leave it plugged in for more than a couple hours to recharge it or it WILL fry the battery. It literally states not more than 3 hrs and I noticed a few people complaining about it frying out after a couple months & wondered if that might have been the reason why. You are able to take the components out so that the material can be washed when it gets dirty, so that's a positive. I will have to see as to the longevity of this item, but so far I have enjoyed not having to wear earbuds to bed and this is a much more comfortable alternative

I purchased this headband at the end of September, and by late November it completely stopped charging. Even worse, when I plug it in now, the battery actually depletes instead of charging, making it unusable. To be fair, while it worked, it was comfortable to sleep in, fit well, and the sound quality was decent. However, none of that matters if the product only lasts about two months. I bought two sleep headbands around the same time from different vendors. The other one—same general style, a brand I’ve owned before—is still working perfectly. This one is not. That tells me this is a quality issue, not user error. For me, this was a poor investment. I would not recommend this product at all and suggest spending a little more for better quality and reliability.

This product lasted 9 months. It works well for wearing headphones at night, but the product is a potential fire hazard. I have purchased three of these over the years and they all have the same problem. Over time the Joysical lithium ion battery has expanded and pushed the casing apart. This indicates that it is a critically damaged lithium-ion battery (often called a "spicy pillow") and poses a significant fire and safety hazard. The swelling is caused by gas buildup from chemical failure, and the battery must not be used, charged, or kept in your home. I don't know if the risk is worth the help these headphones provide to drown out my husband's snoring. Though these headphones are sold under many different brands, when you pull the headphones out you will see Joysical on the case.

I love falling asleep to music and sometimes if I’m bunking with someone on vacation it can annoy them (I also can’t fall asleep to snoring lol). This is a game changer! I was able to fall asleep to my music, not hear any other noises, and even pull it down over my eyes if I wanted to sleep before the other person! I’m happy with this product, the sound quality is good, they charged pretty fast the first time I used them, they’re light on my head, simple to set up and use. They're perfect for falling asleep to a meditation. I honestly had to clue what to expect going into using headband headphones, but I’m glad I tried it’ll be part of my bedtime routine now.
