My boyfriend is a chain smoker. He smokes indoors, which I hate. It's cold here in Oregon so we made a compromise. We got this. It's very classy looking, and has a nice charging system. It fits comfortably and stylishly on his desktop. It's portable which is cool, you can take it anywhere. It works best if the smoker is right next to it, both blowing the smoke into the unit and holding the cigarette nearby while smoldering. If it's used casually, especially if there are drafts in the room, not all the smoke is absorbed. I could honestly say though its taking care of the problem about 75% better than just a window cracked open. There are no smells in the room after he's done and it's an ashtray too so it's nice to keep all of his cigarette waste in one place. I would recommend it for light to medium smokers. If you want complete smoke control though this unit is not 100% effective. I think it was worth the purchase. Smoke is a lot better for the rest of the family including the pets. If you took this with you into a no smoking hotel room it would probably work great if you were diligent.

420 friendly here but wanted to minimize the smoke left lingering around. This works great. The only thing I wish there was another inch or so of space between the middle piece and the side holders. I’ll set my joint in there but sometimes it too long and hits the air filter part and I’ve noticed ashes fall in to there. Otherwise this thing works great so far. I love the two different setting options. Might buy another one for have in different rooms! It came with little lemon air scents to put inside the unit but I’m not sure where to get fresh ones of those

You basically have to keep the cigarette on the ashtray for it to get the smoke. It also has to be on the high setting. The low setting barely takes in any smoke. So if you want to just light the cigarette take one drag and then let it sit in the ashtray this might be for you. For the rest of us I would not recommend

Works good

Item did not work. I bought for Christmas and when I wanted to return it the window was already closed. Hadn’t opened it prior to Christmas cause it was a gift for mom but when she did I had noticed that it looked like an item that had been returned cause the packaging on the inside didn’t look like a new product should. So now I’m out what ever it cost me. Which really sucks.
