What kind of adhesive should be used to attach this piece to wood furniture?

Just use a good construction adhesive like a gel style which is thicker from a tube applicator and not the spray kind. I think I used something called gripit adhesive which dried clear Incase some glue squeezes out when you press down the molding. I would not use regular superglue because it is to thin in my opinion. I would use a gel or even better a paste like construction adhesive that dries clear.

This is a nice elegant and very lightweight product. It attaches easily with silicone adhesive and accepts paint readily. It was perfect for my project.
