Very cute
We bought these as a party favor for our 3 year old daughter’s birthday party. A lot of parents said the kids were loving them!

Cool idea, odd material
These were fun, my little dinosaur lover was excited to see the dinosaurs “hatch” from the eggs over time. The dinosaur is kind of an odd material though. It’s very movable vs. a hard plastic dinosaur. This might not be a downside for some people, but I didn’t like it as much and my son doesn’t seem to either. He never really reaches for these to play with over his hard plastic dinosaurs. Still a very cool party favor or something, and again, other people might like the material of the dinosaurs, it’s just personal preference.

Wonderful party favors
Great set for boys and girls. I love the colors of the eggs. Fun project to go to set in water and watch the egg grow and crack open to a colorful dinosaur. Great party favor and a great value.

Dinosaur Party Favors
These were really small eggs. I can't say the size of the dinosaurs due to buying them as gifts for my class. I would not purchase again.

Fun for Party Favors
We used these as a 'Yoshi's egg hunt' activity for my son's birthday party. The kids really enjoyed it, although I probably should have organized the activity better (not the fault of the eggs). The various colors made it a lot of fun, although the kids were expecting them to open like an Easter egg (they are the same size as the traditional smaller Easter eggs). Because I failed to explain properly, many of the kids chose to crack the eggs open rather than wait to hatch them. They can be cracked open but do require some force to do so! They were sturdy, in our experience. They are not fragile. When placed in water (we used room temp), they started to hatch between 12 and 24 hours. They do sort of dissolve in a bit of a weird way, making the water a bit murky and "fluffy," for lack of a better word. This didn't bother the kids, but I thought was kind of funky. Ours didn't have any noticeable smell or off-gassing.The kids enjoyed this and it made for a fun activity and party favor. The downsides of the activity were my fault, not the fault of the eggs, and I appreciate that they came with little plastic bags and cards to send home so the instructions for hatching were clear.

Super small and not valentines
I ordered these for valentines for my son - they came with party favor bags, not valentines. They are crazy small but grow bigger. They are slimy once grown and not worth it, in my opinion

Fun but a long wait for the little ones
These are cute dinosaur eggs with a fun surprise for kids. It comes with everything needed - eggs, instructional cards and even baggies to wrap them in. A few things to consider though:1. Meant for older kids with a lot of patience - while it's fun to watch these dinosaurs "hatch" in water, it does take at least 24 hours for the eggs to even crack and even longer than 72 hours for the dinos in the eggs to grow big.2. Cards pre-printed for a party - The cards included say, "Dinosaur Party Favors" with "To and From" on the back. I think these toys would be more versatile if it was a simple "How to" directions card so that they could be used for any occasion (like school giveaways.)All in all, this is a fun activity for kids but just takes a bit long for results to come - something that could be challenging for some small children.
